In your torrent program (I use Transmission), just unselect the files you do not want to download...

i´m a bit unsure of the size of the 10.5.6 dmg. was it ripped straight from the dvddrive?
the size of the dmg says 6.22GB, but it should be larger.
6.71GB is the correct size when ripped from drive straight to dmg with disc utility.

Yeah, the retail DVD is too short. I'm pretty sure they ripped only the HFS+ volume of the DVD and not the drive itself. Anyway the iLife and iWork dmgs are still usable. So thanks :)

Use the 'Disk Utility' program (look in Applications/Utilities folder for it) Disk Utility can make .dmg files from CDs and DVDs and it will take a .dmg file and burn it onto a physical disk for you.

Here's an important tip when burning the Mac OS X Installer image to a DL DVD. Make sure you use Utilities > Disk Utility to burn the disc if you want it to boot your Mac. Do NOT use Toast to burn the disc: it won't boot your Mac.

the osx 10.5 works awesome but ive installed the ilife 4 times and it doesnt do anything it doesnt even take up any hard drive space. iwork does the same thing. if you have any suggestions please let me know
