Now that the two newcomers have been welcomed into the depleted gang of con artists, Mickey wants to teach them about the ways of the "long con". Ash is more cautious: "She's fit, which never hurts and little brother's bright enough but he's not a grifter yet," is how he sums them up. He could be describing Stacey and Danny in their early days. The absence of these two characters has had quite an impact on Hustle which, judging by this episode at least, doesn't have the same gloss as previously. Not only that, but Mickey is spending most of his time on the moral high ground - any longer up there and we'll have to send oxygen. Fingers crossed the series will return to its former glory soon. The team's target this time is a pair of greedy, unscrupulous businessmen who make money from stealing other people's ideas and marketing them as their own. What the grifters need is a simple plan to stitch them up. And a simple plan is what they come up with - bet you work it out before the reveal.
