The audio is not out of sync at all on this rip. If you have sync issues with larger res H264 vids, it's almost always that your CPU/GPU can't keep up with it. VLC play H264 but is very poor at it as it is a resource hog (Quicktime is worse).
Use KMPlayer's "recommended" install setting or if you have a slower/single core use the 'performance' setting.

Either that or use Media Player Classic with CoreAVC as the external H264 decoder. CoreAVC isn't free but it's not expensive and there are torrents to be had of it of course.
