fiendslyr: you probably got some driver or codec problem. Uninstall and Re-install your codec pack (K-Lite?) and MPC.

Agree about leeching assholes. Gulaschbaron - 300k/sec upload? Legendary. My scumbag ISP limits uploads to 25k/sec max, and suspends the account if uploading more than 500MB in a day. I still managed to get a ratio over 3 over about 2 years before moving to a new Linux box and losing all my stats.
Keep seeding! Its the only way!
