Monday September 15, 2008 Mark Koernke is back on the airwaves and ready to shed light on issues effecting the rights and freedoms of all Americans. Koernke's radio show "The Intelligence Report" will expose the New World Order's plans for global domination. Mark's research has managed to come across actual photographs of one of the FEMA concentration camps located in the United States! Koernke has also figured out and exposed their plans to plant microchips into the bodies of children, to insert barcodes into dollar bills so we can use scanners to find out how much money people have, and to use FEMA to take over the country for the U.N.

what do you use to rip with? GCN doesnt seem to separate out files in station ripper.

I use Total Recorder to capture streams. For the Intel Report I use the podcast as a source, so no total recorder there.
As far as splitting files goes, I use either Nero Wave Editor or Audacity to do the edits and both have different ways to split. For Audacity you can put labels in for the different hours and then go File -> Export Multiple and it'll split based on the labels. For Nero you go Edit -> Insert Track Split and then when done do Edit -> Save Tracks as Files

If you wanna preserve quality you can use mp3directcut and audacity to make a perfectly preserved file.

Yeah, I've read that thread. I do the label thing with audacity, but to be honest, it's not that much faster than doing it all by hand with Nero.
Mp3directcut is ok, but it's not the easiest to use due to the poor waveform display. I rely mostly on visual recognition of the different waves during commercials vs show and it just doesn't show up well with mp3directcut.
If you have any tips then I'll gladly listen, though! I've not heard any complaints on the sounds quality of my files either. To my ears they sounds 99% as good as the original stream, usually better because I go in and adjust volume levels of guests and sometimes do extensive corrections when there's odd problems.
But I am always open to new ways, doubly so if they save time.
