The disc1 isn't a valid .iso image. Can't mount it, whereas the disc2 mounts nicely.
It might be my system being too picky but I highly doubt it. Think this ain't working for anyone.

Good news: I installed it on vista.. When I start the game I reach the main menu :D
Bad news: I cant see the menu :S I know im in the menu but I can´t see it... Any answers 4 this problem?

gamer_92/ I cant help you but, the same thing happens in age of empires two for me. the menu buttons in game, for combat formations and such, that actually make the game playable and fun dont appear. its also a cracked version, not sure if that has anything to do with it. im on vista 64x as well. i would suggest trying to change the compatibility to XP in the "right-click" icon menu. let me know if it works. i really want to try this. plus anyone know where a good thief (1) is?

This game appears to be incomplete. It doesn't contain the briefings between missions. This is just one mission right after the other, with no story-line.

I was wrong. This game does have the cut-scenes - they just don't play in Vista without some tweaking. I got this game to work in Vista 32bit (including cut-scenes) by doing the following: upgrade game version from 1.07 to 1.18; install latest indeo codec; install ddfix; run thief2.exe in xp compatibility mode.
