dast84, i have the same problem for this torrent. i added a bunch of random trackers from another torrent and it finally found a ton of seeders/leechers and started but the speed is incredibly slow. i am going to try a different torrent

I know, I thought about that scene as well. It's was indeed unexplained how he managed to be there at that time.
But I have a theory:
Remember the time when Petrilli met Hiro in the desert and erased his memories? That could have an excellent opportunity for him to copy (not steal) Hiros abilities. And maybe he had a reason not to take Hiros ability at that time, but at the balcony he did.
Still pretty far fetched, though.....
