This game is quite old. First came out on PC in 2001. It will work just fine.

It doesn't work, I have leopard an it doesnt find the classic. A lot of people are talking about simply burning it to a disc and then it will work. If that is the case, what exactly do you burn to a disc, some just say IT(which is useless unless you are used to doing this) others say the toast image, and yet others say you burn the launcher. Please help me!

For those wanting to install/play on Leopard...
You need to:
- download this file
- use disk utility to burn the downloaded DMG file onto a CD (further instructions at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2087)
-install the game and run it with your burnt CD in your drive.
Confirming once more, this will work on Intel Macs and Leopard (using this method).

I used the toast 9.04 ( utilities/ mount disk image or shift+com+M ) to mount Maxpayne.dmg that I downloaded and it work on my hackintosh Intel Q6600 and Geforce 8500 and of course my MB ABIT IB9.

the download was great and fast..i downloaded it on my osx snow leopard imac...but i followed wip33's instructions and it still asks for a cd! what should i do?? how can i find a codec for the game?? please some1 tell me soon..im very eager to play the game :D

!!!!! Everyone, who can't get this work, try this:
1. Download this torrent
2. Forget 'No CD Crack' (delete it 'cos it really doesn't work)
3. Emulate 'Max Payne.dmg' via Toast Titanium or other CD emulator
4. Double Click 'Max Payne' on desktop (icon looks like a CD)
5. Double Click 'Max Payne Installer' and let it install to 'Applications'
6. Let 'Max Payne.dmg' emulated and double click: Applications > Max Payne > Max Payne
