Hallå ja...gå in och kopiera den filen som finns i crack mappen och klistra in den i installations mappen (högerklicka på tomt fält, inte på någon fil eller mapp) och skriv över befintlig fil..klart

Lol If u have deamon tools u mount the CD and Install On The CD U have a crack map. ( + Explore The CD for Crack)

~ gamemastr ~ if you having problems even after you mount that image, try disabling your cdrom drive by right-clicking on my computer, go to properties, Hardware tab, then device manager. Find where it says cd-rom, right-click on yours then pick disable.

After that when you wanna use the cd-rom again, just retrace the steps and re-enable it.

I got the same error as gamemastr and did the disable drives part but daemon wont work unless I activate the cd rom drive.I reinstalled it too. help would be most appericated.

i use deamon tools and have done exactly what u have already written but when i started the game it said that the program had run into an error and have to shut down. if you have any clues to why pls tell me

I'm using virtualclonedrive and whatever i do, mounting that image, i always get the "insert the correct disk into the cd-rom" message on starting the game.

fixed, people having the same problem as me, just explore the iso when its in a virtual drive, copy the crack to your assassins creed folder and then just run it off that or off a shortcut to that.

Ok so I had some problems as well, but I now have it working. Heres exactly what I did in order. Installed w/ deamon tools, Updated the game via the automatic updater (don't know if this matters), with the image mounted, explored it and took the two files in the folder called crack and copied them. Went into program files -> Ubisoft -> Assassin's Creed and then pasted the 2 files directly into it, OVERWRITING the two that were already there. Then running it from those new .exe's worked for me. Hope this helps.
