sorry to write so much :P but after some effort and some hard work :)) ive got the player and it is playing.. but with no sound ? anyone who can recommend some filters to use or what ? plz

i can`t get the sound with VLC player. what is wrong or what player should i use? any 1 please.

Use this tool to identify what codecs u need to playback video and audio. Works by opening the movie/audio file with Gspot.
Then download and install the most recent version of the appropriate codecs.

Here's what i came across when google'ing "x264":

Audio still doesnt work, probably whole track is damaged, any codec cant decode this (even Sonic EAC3 codec)
