I am having trouble getting these subtitles to work, even with VLC which never normally has a problem with any subs files.

Thanks for the download. But I did want to confirm that the English and French subtitle files (ending in .idx and .sub) whihc are supplied with this torrent DO NOT work. The link supplied in the last posting above (which is a .rar file which, when opened, gives an .srt file) DOES work. You just need to download and open the file with WinRar, convert it, and add it to the same file as the .avi as the film. I hope this works as well for you as it did for me. By the way, I am using VLC to view the film.
