I'm sorry for my poor english, but I want to help and translated the instruction, I hope, you'll understand.
Instruction
1. Install Daemon tools
2. Install YASU and Starfuck into folder with installed DT.
3. Mount our image by Daemon tools and enabling all emulations in options
4.Next installing all that STALKER asks (game,DirectX,protection drivers)
5. Enter key E357-X47T-BV6P-BLF3
6.The game will install protection drivers and asks for reboot, do it
7. Open folder with Daemon tools, run YASU, enabling all options and click on UNCLOAK and closing YASU, say YES for question.
8. Run StarFUCK, patch all blacklists for all protections, next selecting Securom and click on "Einstevellen"
9. Reboot and run the game from shortcut or from the folder where the game is /bin/xrEngine exe
Good Luck!
P.S. The images was made from license disk of 1C. And don't forget install patch 1.5.3

On hearings, European and Ukrainian versions will be protected by Securom, but official release will be by Aug,29.
Apparently, nobody in russian and ukrainian segmets of inet could not start this game from the images, the russian forums teem with messages on failure:(

3) replace protect.dll
4) when first trying starting the game dont unmount the game
5)start the game from the desktop shortcut or start menu
6) in 3 re-mount the disk

ok i got it to work but there is no english option so u have either to wait for the us/eu version or learn russian
here's how to do everything from scratch
1) download this torrent
2)when done downloading install demon tools it will ask you to reboot so it can finish installation.
3) when back , mount the game in demon tools and install the game (make sure every check box is checked) use this serial key FK47-S4JT-576Q-GZTM
4)when the last page of installation shows up make sure the check box is unchecked then finish
5) download this crack
6) copy protection.dll to you bin folder in the stalker folder and replace the exsisting one
7) launch the game and have fun!!!

Hey, guys! I used the serial : FK47-S4JT-576Q-GZTM and then replaced the "protect.dll" with the one here (5.60.1.18) but when I run the exe and after cd checking I get an error message from "BugTrap" (this is the message: "xrEngine.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "D:\GAMES\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky\bin\xrEngine.exe" at 001B:0046EB44".
I also tried to edit the "fsgame.ltx" and added in my registry "SCSreg1.reg" and "SCSreg2.reg" but I can't get it to go! The bloody fucker!
Can anybody tell me how can I get it to work properly?

so i dled this and have tried installing it like 6 times, i am following everyones instructions but when i go to start the game, it can't find the disk. first i start by mounting the image with daemon. then i install the game with all the right boxes checked or unchecked. then i patch the game switch the protect.dlls blah blah but nothing works!!! jesus fuck i want to play this.

2) Copy protect.dll versions 5.60.1.18 in a folder with game preliminary having saved protect.dll from the version 5.60.1.21
3) Start game from a shortcut - the error takes off. (An error caused by BugTrap)
4)UNMOUNT the IMAGE from Daemon Tools
5) Return protect.dll from version 5.60.1.21
6) Start game and play for 3 days... In 3 days repeat procedure.

For some reason this does not work for me. I install the patch, change the protect.dll and try to launch it from either of the shortcuts but I cannot. I will try the previous instructions and see if they work.
I also udnerstand Russian but prefer English so if you're going to send help my way try English first please.

i have tried everything and with no success. i am not a noob and have followed all the instructions EXACTLY when i hit a shortgun to start after switching the .dlls and unmounted the image, it first says it can't find a CD WHY?? then if i mount the CD or try the unpatched method, it tells me my CD key is invalid.

@merks91: Try getting image from gamecopyworld (image 1 works). Use DT 4.30.1.
There are instructions on GCW to make this game work with the patch. You should install the patch because it fixes some bugs in the game.
P.S.: Haven't tested this on Vista, maybe you're using it ?

New patch should come out 5th September.
For me, so far so good, no crashes (running it on XP 64bit)
I hope english version will be pre-patched (and will not have that darn StarForce 5.5 on it).

2.when cdkey comes just klik next [no need for cdkey]
3.patch up
4.download crack so u have the rar. open with the cracked protect.dll
5.take the org. protect.dll from stalker/bin
Paste it to ur desktop
6.copy cracked protect.dll to stalker/bin
7.Run game [get the bugtrap] msg,exit go replace the cracked protect.dll stalker/bin with the org. protect.dll from the desktop and bang run game again and it works

Hey, and thx for the torrent, but i got a problem. I have installed the game, patch it, crack it, no problem, i play to it. But, i have a good computer configuration (3gbram, 2.8 duo Ghz, 8600 512mo) but, when i set the graphic to max, i still can't activ some settings like the shadows. I always set the graph to high or to max in any games, except for the shadow, vs synchro and ,sometime, reflect. And i never got any lag. But on this game, it look like the graph are really low, and as if the AA was not there. As a example, i played on Assassin's creed with max graph without any problem. My opinion is that the x-ray engine is better and better optimized than one in COD4 (using Oced 8800GTX COD4 lags under 1920x1200 at max where Bioshock doesn't, Stalker also doesn't). Of course it won't max out some top high end sli system, but it's a great engine.
The main thing about the game: It is terribly buggy.
Btw, I guess this thing still using that damn starforce cdcheck. Because the last path returns the bad old test-on-every-startup crap instead of 3 day activation so previous crack won't work. The only workaround is to try unpacking the last path's *.db files into gamedata folder but I've heard that is doesn't work very well (the .exe must have been modified).
Waiting for hackers to make a real starforce crack. I guess it won't take a year to crack this as no protection is perfect.

You don't need a CD-Key. Just press next when the install asks for CD-Key.

What I acutally figuered out is, that my protect.dll file is not named 5.60.1.21 but 5.60.1.18 form the beginning on... There's nothing with .21 only .18 even after patching it...

Problem is that with .04 you cant get out of the 2nd map (crodon or how its called) Those damn suckers...
When u try to travel it only gives u the option "yes" and nothing happens^^

Those files are inside of folders which both need to be extracted to where STALKER is installed.
So, put the gamedata folder under C:\games\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky or wherever the root installation is.
Now you can leave the swamp from 3 different locations. :)

Eurgh...I have another problem, when I go to Cordon and get past the military Machine gun nest I go to Sidorovich and I find his door locked, I also dont seem to have the option to talk to wolf although i can talk to anyone else in his camp......i waited until the next morning as it was darkish when i got there to see if the door was opened but as of 8am the door is still locked...is this a problem anyone else has had and if so how did you fix it? Am I just being extremely dumb here...

I encountered the same problem because the original install method I used combined both patches and mixing in the first patched /bin files thus my version of STALKER was hybrid which causes the trader issue along with other scripts not running.
To resolve this BS I uninstalled and reinstalled the game then only applied the first patch along with the appropriate crack from gamecopyworld.
Also, you must start a new game, the old saves will crash to desktop (though the xengine continues to run).

The new 1504 crack fucks up the patch, there is not working stamina bar and its not possible to move items to stashes via double click.
These are changes, which are implemented by the 1504 patch.
Wnen you replace the patch with a lot of older files /the famous bin folder/ it is obvious that this is not exactly CS 1504.
