Rosetta Stone Japanese V3 Complete

This is the long Awaited Japanese V3 includes all levels plus Application and crack. I take no credit for these just uploading to share with the community. Installation instructions for the application please follow. Once again I did not write these instructions they came with the APP i downloaded it INSTALL XP PRO 1. Burn or mount the Application ISO using one of the many ISO utilities. ( i personally use PowerISO to mount ) 2. Turn off all Anti Virus applications. 3. Install the Application 4. DO NOT let the application run at the end of the install. 5. copy the Rosetta Stone v3.2 - Patch.exe to the install folder and run it 6. click the PATCH button and exit the progam 7. Burn or mount one of the language ISO files 8. Run the Rosetta Stone Application 9. you might see an error at this point. Click OK and continue 10. The application will ask to install a language 11. It should search and find the language disk or mounted ISO 12. continue for all languages and levels you wants installed. 13. when finished the software will ask to update the languages. Its ok to allow it to update. I do not run Vista however I have seen in the comments for the original version of this set that you need to install and run the application as ADMIN. Everything else should be the same as XP. Enjoy

Thanks for the UL. I'm running a cracked version of RS V3.2.11 and I've got Japanese Lv 1 running fine. In the process of downloading this now. I'm only really interested in the Lv2/3 language packs - is there any kind of protection on them or do you just add them to RS App? I can't remember what I did last time... Oh, I'm running all of this on a Mac too! :-)

When I try to add Level 1 I get quite a few virus detections. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I just ignore them? If I delete the file I end up missing parts of the lessons.

You need to Install the application but uncheck the launch application button at the end of the installation. then you need to go to program files and find the rosetta stone folder copy the patch there and run it and it should work after that. If you get something that says error 8211 or something like that than you have done it right.

wheni run it and press 'patch', and new box opens that says, "cannot find the file. search for file?" and then gives a yes or no option. i clicked yes and it went into the folder... and then only said open or cancel... i dont know what folder to open, there are so many! lol any more help?

After install I allowed the program to run updates. Both the program and Japanese updated. The program is now at 3.3.5-20335. Now the Japanese unit (#1 is the only one installed so far) is asking to be activated.
Suggestions?

So after i install, can i add more languages, for instance could i get the 27 lang rosetta stone and pick and choose which ones i want.
I just have a feeling its more complicated than one would think... but maybe its just dragging and dropping...

Once you install the initial rosetta stone application you should be able to install as many languages as you want. Just keep mounting or burning them and add them with the program. But do not let it update. I've included v3.2 of the app the which is the most current version that's been cracked. If you update either the application or the language files it might start asking for an activation code.
P.S. Thanks for the compliments, I know how badly alot of people wanted this. So I was thrilled when I saw it on demonoid and couldn't resist sharing.

I think you should be aware of Trojan, Malware, and Viruses hidden in the "languages" folder. The antivirus won't pick it up because it's a text document.
Does anyone know how to detect them before running the application through Rosetta Stone?
If people argue that's it part of the document is full of shit because not all languages get detected with Viruses, Malware or Trojans.
When I look at the text I don't know which ones to delete unless I add the language ISO through Rosetta Stone and write down the numbers then go back into the file and delete them. There's gotta be an easier way.

All i can tell you is that I've been running this program for a week and a half without incident. I noticed in your virus report that SWF appears in every line. Last time i checked and SWf was a Shock wave Flash file/object which would make sense given the type of program this is. Anti virus programs frequently give off False positives. That's all I can really say

Okay, I love the way this works, but I have one minor problem, same problem Idkstar said he had when he updated.
Unfortunately for me I've never updated and still got the following problem:
I've installed the japanes lv 1 language and it asked me to update, I clicked remind me later, then a new page came out asking to register and I clicked never register, then it took me to an activation code page explaining if I didn't activate it would give me limited lessons?????
Please does anyone have a keygen or crack for this Program I would really appreciate it.

Here we go, can't help you with V3 cause I haven't gotten that far yet, but I can help with what I wrote before.
Some ppl like myself were having the problem with running the patch and a little window coming out saying can not find file. try again?
yeah, this happens because you need to right click and run the patch as administrator, that's it once you do all the rest of the steps just remember to never update and never register.
the whole update thing for me really doesn't matter, because I just one to at least understand and speak japanese.

Sorry I have been busy school just started a few weeks ago and my computer died as well just got a new one up and running two nights ago. I keep seeing that everybody has the same two or so problems so I say it again.
Do not let the application run at the end of instilation uncheck the box that says launch rosetta stone.
Copy the patch to the program directory and then run it from there.
Please do not update the application to 3.3.5 however I believe you can update the languages

Ok I'll try to explain how I got it to work.
First of all, I'm using Windows Vista
1. Download Daemon tools
2. After you install Daemon tools, right click on the application and select "virtual cd/dvd-rom". Then set the number of drives to 4.
3. Click on the first drive, and mount the Rosetta Stone V3.2 application. This should bring up the setup menu.
4. At the end of the installation, make sure that you DO NOT launch the application (un-check the box and click finish)
5. Next COPY the crack and then paste the crack into Rosetta Stone's program files. If you are running Vista, right click on the crack and run as administrator. Then click patch and let it run.
6. After patching, mount the language files using the other available drives.
7. Now run the application. If it asks for an update, DO NOT UPDATE.
8. Now click install languages the first, after the installation completes, click "add another language" and install the other ones as such.
9. The only thing that I am not sure about is the activation code. I though that the crack would get rid of the activation all together, but I remember entering in all "X's" in previous versions of rosetta stone. Maybe someone else knows the answer.

I seem to be having the same problem as a few others. Everything loads, mounts and works just fine, but the patch. I cant seem to get it to work. At first I thought it was because I allowed RS to run before i patched it. So, I deleted everything and started all over only to get the same result. I get an error that says "can't read the file - nothing patched". The program is great, but I just need to unlock it. As for being a noob with torrents, yes. I am. But we all have to start somewhere. So advice welcome, unhelpful sarcasm... not so much.

Gaijin, I had this same problem. I used the Rosetta stone install that comes with the Russian V3 torrent and it worked fine the first time.
BTW If you repeat the crack process you will get an error saying that nothing was installed, so make sure you didnt already patch it.
My problem is that even with Rosetta stone working it gives me a message when I load the Japanese pack "There was an error while loading..." Meanwhile the Russian lessons install fine.
The last thing I'll ask is, how can I get pass the licensing? It still asks me to activate my Russian lessons.

You get every language in an iso file. No Extracting, all you have to do is burn it to a disc with PowerISO or Alcohol and it autostarts when you load it. You can also mount it to your virtual drive. It comes with all the help files, language sheets, and even a bonus language program. Works perfectly. I got this about a year ago and I love it.
Oh, and only 3.62 GB, so it fits perfectly on a DVD, or takes up as little space on your HD as possible. Trust me, this is the easiest way to go. I tried torrents like this, and the set up and installation alone was the biggest pain in the a...With this, no installation is needed.
The file is in ISO format. You don't have to install the program to your computer. You can use PowerISO to burn it to a disc, and it will autorun on your computer anytime after you put the disc in. Or, if you don't want to burn it, simply use the "Mount" option in PowerISO and choose to mount image to drive [E]. It should then open up the file folder with RS in it. If it doesn't, go to "My Computer", right click on your new (E) drive, and click run. That's all you have to do. Rosetta Stone will run on its own, no installation needed, no extracting files, it is all self-contained. You will see every language, all you have to do is choose one and off you go.

I downloaded this and I am having problems with the Application installation. I burned the Application with PowerIso to install it on a different computer, but when I tried to open it, there is no way to install (no .exe file). There is a file folder that is called "Rosetta Stone Installer.app", but when I click on it, it reveals a folder named "Contents". When I click on "Contents", it shows five different files, named "InstallerData", "MacOS", "Resources", "Info.plist", and "PkgInfo". If I try to open any of these, I get an error message saying, "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel". I have tried it on two different computers and I get the same result. Also, I checked the file that I downloaded (because I thought I may have burned it incorrectly) and those are the only files in the download too. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have no idea why the above commenter is having problems - maybe he didn't see the folder with the installation CD image and just burned the language discs.
I followed the installation instructions to the letter (including allowing updates to be downloaded from Rosetta Stone!) and it worked like a dream. Thanks for the up, much appreciated, especially as the R@p!dshare links for this are now dead. Good work.

I would recommend to NOT allow updates after the initial installation. If you do, it will update to version 3.5 but certain lessons will not be available unless you register by internet! The patch will not work for this (trust me, I tried that prior to starting the app).
I have now uninstalled v3.5 and re-installed v3.2, and happily all the lessons are available! Thanks again. :)

Sorry, yet another comment from me, although I should say after doing a system restore and re-installing, it all appears to be working, except for the fact it doesn't recognise that I have a mic (which is a common problem apparently).
No viruses were detected during the install (I kept my Zone Alarm running, despite the setup advice), however, AFTER the install, I did a scan and the following spyware was found:

Win32.Packer.RLPack.D
Win32.Trojan.Spy.Agent.cda
All successfully removed (I hope). Be warned.

I've been unable to patch this, apprently. I've reinstalled the program twice according to the instructions, but both times the patch has said, "perhaps the file is open?" I don't know which file they mean, but the only thing open is the folder containing the patch.

Hey guys- i am DESPERATELY trying to find ANY VERSION 3 (or higher) Japanese levels 1-3, and this torrent seems to be the best. Via Esarhaddon, I've gotten tons of the V3's to work (like German, Italian, and even two levels of Arabic) but Esarhaddon doesn't have any V3's of Japanese. Well, when I try to run this setup here, I mount on PowerIso the Rosetta Stone V 3.2 Application, and then install it as per normal (and I remember to Uncheck the "run Rosetta Stone" option when it's done installing). Well, then, I copy/paste the V3.2 patch into the Rosetta Stone folder, and run it (it patches succesfully). THE PROBLEM OCCURS HERE- After I've successfully patched it, the moment I try to run the program, Rosetta Stone automatically gives me an error message that says "The program is out of date, contact Rosetta Stone Support" and the only option is to X out of the program (I can't proceed).
Anyone else have this problem? Or, better yet, does anyone know of a V3 (NOT V3.2) Japanese program somewhere in the Torrent-world?
Whenever I try to mount this Japanese lessons (from this torrent file) onto a V3 Rosetta Stone, it recognizes that they're the Japanese lessons, but when I tell them to install, it says there was an error :(
Any thoughts or advice? I feel like I'm SO close!

* To show it, click Tools > Folder Options, go to the View tab and enable the 'Show hidden files and folders' option

Don't allow it to update - it kills the authorizations for the language disks! If you did update, uninstall and reinstall the software per the instructions and it works fine again.
My version sometimes hangs on Level 2, but closing the app and reopening usually lets me continue. Might be because I'm running this on a Mac via Parallels... or because it would need the update (if it would only work)...

Well, I have installed this for a second time after I did a complete reinstall of XP (for unrelated reasons). And for the second time the speech recognition thing won't work. Strange. I wonder if it's to do with my sound card (Delta 66)? Oh well, everything elose works fine, and the Rosetta Stone v2 torrent can be installed side-by-side, and EVERYTHING works on that one, so I use that for talk practice.

I have to same problem. I mistakenly upgraded to 3.3.5, but found a crack for it (In a torrent titled 'languages'). It now works perfectly (you have to click 'activate later' but everything else is fine) for Spanish and Hebrew so far, but when adding Japanese disc one, my computer resets at 80 percent.
Any Ideas?
Also, can I message a person directly, I'd like to ask the original poster if they've found a solution short of reinstalling.

I found out why I did not see the patcher. It has a Trojan generic.dx I have McAfee and it automatically deleted the file. I turned off the virus scanner and used the patcher anyways (done this all offline ofcourse). This program works without any problems. I re-enabled mcafee and it still deletes the patcher, but the program still works. I done a full scan after McAfee removed the trojan and nothing else was detected. If you use this, just take precautions.

I have something weird going on... I did everything to the T but my problem starts when I'm installing the language. My computer suddenly crashes and restarts by itself when its about to complete. It has happened 3 times in a row now. I'm gonna uninstall and install everything again and see how it goes...

Nope. Uninstalled, reinstalled, downloaded the japanese level 1 from other torrent to see if it would work, but it crashed at the same point.
Level 2 and 3 worked though. If somebody knows how to fix this, please share!
BTW I don't have any problems with my microphone (I'm actually using the microphone from my webcam), if you are experiencing problems, go to the control panel, sound, recording, select the device you're using, click "set as default" and click OK. Worked for me.

I followed the instructions word for word, and it works perfectly for me. I am running this on XP with an intel Macbook. I'm running XP through a virtual machine (parallels 4) and I haven't had a single problem with it. Everything installed perfectly, no sound issues, and my built-in mic integrated itself perfectly with no extra configuration.
I disconnected from the internet while installing, did not allow it to update, and I force quit all my anti-virus software before starting.
Just figured with all the comments about problems I'd post a comment confirming it works with me without any problems. If you're running Vista your best bet is probably to either upgrade to 7 or downgrade to XP

hey i was having the same trouble but i got it now. Being told the file was in use and I needed to close it and try again. BUT! Thanks to adm845's suggestion (right click on the folder where you istalled rosetta stone, ie. c:program files(86)rosetta stonerosetta stone v3 go to properties, click the security tab, click edit, then go through the different group or user names, then click on "full control" for each one. This should allow you to install the patch without getting the "file in use" error message--this works for Vista as well as XP), I am now running Rosetta Stone v.3.2 on BOTH my XP desktop and Vista desktop. This is why I love places like this...at least when we all try to help each other enjoy the applications we take time to upload/download.

Hey guys, I downloaded this a while ago, and I thought I patched it correctly, so I started my lessons, but RS continues to ask me for the activation code, and now I can get no farther in my lessons because they're locked. Maybe I patched it incorrectly, but could somebody please fill me in on how to correctly use the patch, step by step? I'm assuming I'll have to uninstall it and start all over, but I'm fine with that I guess.

Ok people, I have spent an entire day trying to figure this thing out, as I'm sure some/most of you have. I found a torrent of this that all you do is simply download, mount, and play, nothing else. So if your like me and don't like messing around with all this crap, copy this URL and search it.

It comes complete with every language I can think of (including Japanese). It's a rather large file, almost 4 gigs. But as I said all you need to do is dl, mount, and play!!!!! (However, I believe it's Version 2, but just as good as V3, so get over it.)

I did everything the instructions said. I got all the language levels installed and patched it.
But when I make a User account and go to start the use the program nothing happens it just sits there no crash or freezing just nothing.

I've got 3.4.7 installed i was able to get the spanish installed but it won't recognize the japanese isos. ive done physical and virtual mounts with no joy. anybody know how to ge it to recognize these or do i just need to download one of the giant packs and re-install everything?

oops...... i thought this was just japanese so i installed everything. i already have the application and a few languages, but they arent activated! once i install japanese, i think im set on languages. but how do i get them activatedd?? i have heard that theres a patch or something that will just activate all your languages. is that included here? i am so confused and really want the languages to work completely! i would really appreciate it if someone told me how to activate the languages free. thank you very much!

To make this clear, ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE MUST BE TURNED OFF!! the reason for this is simple, there are Trojans in there! the way Trojans work is injecting false information into files and data-streams, and this is EXACTLY what a crack is. Some cracks do not need to use Trojans, in fact most do not, but with the more complex programs it is almost a necessity due to the security in place. Instead of thinking of these Trojans as viruses, think of them as retroviruses, which is exactly what they are. but you can delete them w/anti-virus software when your done with them.
P.S. if you cant find the crack, it was deleted by your Antivirus and you need to re-download it.

When I mount the iso file (using powerISO 5.1) there are four folders: Data, Documentation, Languages and Speech.
Where is the installer?
