Why flac files? Most won't want them to the best of my knowledge. Why not just high bit rate mp3s, or ogg vorbis? Even ogg vorbis will be refused by most as well.
It's just more convenient to get mp3s elsewhere or not even get them if not a format people are used to.Go figure. 9 out of 10 people have not a clue what a lossless sound file even is.
Myself , i can't even remember if a flac file is lossless it's been so long since I messed with one.

I really don't see what's the problem here. FLAC files can easily be converted. Personally, I like FLAC because it sounds much better. I mean people who listen to this kind of music, they do notice a difference and it makes them wanna cry:)

I'm with Crystal21; I'd much rather have a lossless format be it flac, wav, whatever. Just MHO :-)

I got hold of it on FLAC: i didn't want to pollute the music with needless lossy compression. Glad some guys liked it.
