I don't understand the concept of the morning update because of how it is dated for the following days morning. Why is it released mid-day a whole day in advanced? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Jwhitt or anyone, could you please explain? Thanks.

I can answer that, my friend...and remember...there is no such thing as a bad question...and questioning doesn't show your ignorance, it proves your wisdom.
Morning updates are aired early in the morning. Rush is unable to get up early enough to "tape" the morning update. Instead, he makes the morning update when he starts his workday, which is too late for the running of the morning updates. So he does the morning update for the next day.
