The Giant Claw

This is the classic film starring Jeff Morrow and Mara Corday. Fred F. Sears directed this as a straight sci-fi film. but the amazing giant space bird makes this a true cinematic wonder. I read that Jeff Morrow would go and see his film open in the small town he lived in. He had not seen the giant bird special effect untill he watch the film with his local towns folk. He had to sneak out of the theatre ounce he saw the giant bird on screen. It's amazingly bad.

Hysterically funny bad movie. The best scene is when the military leaders in the office listen to their pilots being destroyed by the Big Bird. Priceless reactions.

Is there a definitive version of this movie available to buy or download? This rip is cropped to ~16:9 so is missing picture on the top and bottom, as seen in but has a bit more on the sides than the prior-mentioned 4:3 rip.

Well, I guess this 16:9 cropped rip is derived from a ~4:3 cropped transfer of the original aspect 1.85:1 film. What a mess.
