For the last week and a half all of the shows I have downloaded do not show the length in my ipod. That means I cant resume or fast forward when I stop. I've not had this problem until recently.

I'm not sure what's going on exactly. I've heard reports on and off about problems with the files usually with the older or "classic" style iPods. I haven't done any encoding for the past few weeks but I do know that schwigger was tweaking things here and there trying to figure it out.
Until it's pinpointed and corrected I can only suggest recoding the problem files in itunes or Winamp.

I have an 80gb ipod video 5th Gen. The problem seemed to start when the file name/tags included the day in the name (Mon, Tue, Wed, edc...)
I recode them with dbPoweramp and the length show like 1111 hours, but I can resume and fast forward so it doesn't matter.
