I've had this for a day or so now and have watched it twice. My advice to anyone when watching is to download VLC player if you don't already have it. The reason for this is that the copy i have is very slightly out of sync, and VLC can adjust the audio sync very simply. All you need to do is press CRTL then L or K, and it will adjust by 50ms each time you press either key. My own copy needs to be adjusted by roughly -200ms, meaning i have to press CRTL then L 4 times, but play around with it yourself during scenes with lots of dialogue and you can get it right for you.
Also, i prefer the audio with full bass on this copy, which you can do by right clicking on the VLC screen, go to Equaliser, then just click on whatever audio option you prefer.

Watched it and it's watchable...at best.
The bass is REALLY boomy. I had the bass on my sub woofer turned down as low as it could go and it still shook the house if anyone even farted.
The picture is dark and it appears the uploader tried to compensate this by turning the brightness level up too much. The entire picture is VERY washed out.
But it's free and the only thing we have till the movie hits the shelves in blu-ray so i guess we can't complain.

excellent quality! surprised it was a cam. probably the best video of any cam I have seen.
however, after watching it I was sorry I didn't see it in theaters. it was an awesome movie! i thought it was going to suck because the reviews of it were so bad, so I stayed away from theaters and waited for a good cam version to come online. after watching it I couldn't figure out why it got flamed by critics. it was a tight, action sci-fi thriller. would have been better on a big screen.

R5 releases are just basically professional telesyncs or more specifically telecines. They are released in eastern europe, russia and the middle east to combat piracy by competing with the pirates in these areas at the time of release (ironic isn't it)
The point is that R5 releases are still decided by the movie company and with big releases like terminator salvation which is special effects intense there is no reason to release R5 as cams etc just wont sell.
In conclusion, its unlikely that the studio will release an R5 version because the people in these countries will still buy the full DVD when it is released for the quality.

when skynet finally captured john connor's father (whom they were so obsessed to kill), they locked him up in a room instead of terminating him immediately.

The terminators were merely toyminators tossing their main targets around. Toss, toss, toss...

the cyborg's (marcus wright's) role in this film kinda reminded me of schwarzenegger's role in Total Recall. The writers of this sequel tried to put a twist in the story, but then again, its just another cliche.
