@MEOWSHWITZ .srt is the extension of a subtitle file.
1. Place both movie & subtitle file in one folder.
2. Rename the sub file with the same name as the movie (except for .srt extension)
3. start the movie & subs will start automatically (but can still be disabled with your controls). This works on VLC media player, which I prefer, but others probably have similar functions
