TS means Transport Stream. You find VOB files on a DVD and these are MPEG2-PS format. This PS format, however, is not adapted for streaming video through a network or by satellite. Transport Stream (TS) was designed for streaming MPEG videos through such channels. VideoLAN software can handle these streams.

Why do people always download these, when they can see it's KVCD, then ask how do i open this file or why is this file so big. When what we need to know is, what the Audio and Video quality is like. Do a google of KVCD before downloading. Anyone got any opinion on what the movie quality is like???

This is a Batman Movie so its dark in places, and a cam!! Not sure if TS, as the sound seems to me to be recorded directly in a cinema., seems to be a slight echo? So being a CAM & Recorded Directly. I give it Vid 6 / Audio 4
KVCD can be watched on Standalone DVD Player
Use Nero or similar to burn to 700MB CD
Enable Overburning in Nero, Options /Expert Features
Enable Disk-st-once CD overburning
Absolute maximum overburning size 84:00:00
Enable generation of short lead-out
Click OK
Select Video CD
Deselect Create standard compliant CD
Then choose PAL or NTSC
Click OK and burn at low speed
