Hey. I've been searching for this game for a long time now. It was only of the few RTS's that started me on my trip toward games like Starcraft, Fallout, and others.
I have a problem though. I downloaded the ISO file, mounted it onto Daemon Tools (the newest stable version I know of), and it auto ran. The box popped up showing "Install/Exit" options. When I click on the "Install" option, the box goes away and then no matter how long I wait it does nothing. I'm running an E-Machine XP version of Windows. I have way more than the needed specs to run the game. Can anyone help me out? I would be very grateful.

For Windows XP, you need to run the installer in safe mode. When in safe mode, to install it, change your resolution first. It only runs the installer with at least a resolution of 800x600.
To change resolutions in safe mode, instead of clicking OK or Apply, click advanced. Hit OK in the advanced menu, and it should work.
When run in XP after installed it will crash. To fix it:
1. Right click battlecry.exe.
2. Click Properties.
3. Click the compatibility tab.
4. Check the Run this in? compatibility mode for: box.
5. Select Windows 98 / Windows ME from the dropdown below it.
6. After hitting OK, play it. :)
Unfortunately, however, it seems to crash whenever you finish a skirmish map. The campaign works find, but you cannot advance skirmish heroes past level 1 because the game crashes on victory or defeat.

installed fine hard to find a crack tho had to update to find one and now screens always flashing black a bit and skirmish crashes
