The newer version doesn´t feature the professional-mode in part 1 unless you know how to hex

That's NOT the all in one DVD release. The DVD release is screwed up in some regards as pointed out by prauljones.

These are basically the best versions you can get, especially when it comes to Sternenschweif as there's also a 1CD Sternenschweif version which lacks some audio tracks that are stored on CD2.
