welp, its not just Xbox controller. its any controller. i tried a plain normal joystick, and it does the same. NUTHIN. shows as wheel. cant change buttons/axis'. after removing all controllers/joysticks, i am at least able to get past the 1st level and play. though, playing on keyboard really sux. :(

after several days of download with average speed; I run the installer and right after I mounted the 2nd file i got this very image:
i decided wth lets try the game and if not then I see what to do.
nevertheless the game launched w.o any problem, set up all of the settings like resolution, keyboard mappings etc etc.
upon completion of the introduction stage, right past that train I must run in front of, game switches to a video mode and right there it crushes. tried every single possible combination of gfx, difficulty problems, reinstalled like 3-4 times. futile.

amid other things i decided to follow these steps just in case the issue was when the dvd was asked to be swapped.
inside each iso, there a folder named "Game" which contains rar files.
i copied all of these files to a same folder and then i run "GameFiles.part01.exe" but when it reached part 32 and 34 i got the exact same error, saying afterwards that the installation has failed and that I should download a fresh copy of it.
(utorrent shows that the file is 100% downloaded. checked it twice alrdy)
md5 of rld-nfstra.iso is: 93853CAF20E2E45696BECE32FBDC8938
and
md5 of rld-nfstrb.iso is: A9EE30AC515116BFDD8977C8EFCA9DC6

The game runs fine on my i7-2600k and a ATI HD6870 1GB with all settings to max. And if you see Xbox keys on the screen, then disconnect your joystick (just pull the usb cable out) and the game will display PC keys on the screen.

Hi! I just finished downloading the game, installed it and and replaced the original .exe with the crack.
But now the game won't start and keeps showing this message: "CreateDXGIFactory1" couldn't be found in DLL "dxgi.dll".
Anyone got the same problem? maybe another crack would help.
Furthermore, i can't find a "uninstall.exe" and I can't uninstall it thru Windows-Software.

I found the solution to the DXGI error for Vista users,
you have to download and install the update mentioned here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971644
or you can simply do it from windows:
start>all programs>windows update>check for updates button.
windows will starts to search for all missing update, when it's finished searching, uncheck all updates, sort by name, then check only update 971644, install, reboot, and see the magic.
Note: be sure to update to last graphics card driver, update your DirectX, and be sure you are running Win Vista SP2 (it's available on microsoft.com as a free download if you already have SP1 installed)
I havent tested on XP, but EA says the minimum requirements is Vista SP2

I can't use A botton or LT in xbox 360 controller to accelerate or break, but I can only turn the car.
Just after getitng out from the porche and when i enter audi i cant accelerate and the car stops.

For the record, there is nothing wrong with this torrent. Nothing is in Chinese, no viruses, none of the problem you are seeing people claim.
There are people who spend a lot of time writing comments on perfectly good torrents, claiming there are big problems with them. It could be that they work for the publisher, or maybe they are mad at the person who posted the torrent or maybe they're just trolls.
Anyway, I just want people to know this is a perfectly good, working torrent. No problems installing or running.
It's not the greatest game in the world, but it's just about worth what it costs to download. You might have some fun, might not like it, but don't claim that there is some defect in the torrent.

Just mount the second disk when the installer asks for it and it will find the rar file you're looking for.

HOW TO INSTALL:
1. Burn or mount the .ISO file
2. Mount the .ISO file with a program, say PowerISO or Daemon Tools.
3. Go to your computer then double click on the cd-unit where you've mounted the file on.
4. Install it.
5. When it comes to when it asks for the other file you just mount the second .ISO file (rld-nfstrb) and click ok.
6. When done open the mounted .ISO file (rld-nfstrb) then go to crack folder, copy the crack into the install folder and overwrite the existing file.
7. RUN AND PLAY!!!

I have to say i have the same problem when get hit by marcus blackwell after the cops in las vegas.it is the stage where you have to make up time after getting hit by marcus blackwell .the car lags .it does not accelerate..it stops..hence you cannot go ahead with the game..any fixes will be appreciated..i have an i5 with nvida 460 gt 1 gb ram with 8 gb ddr3 ram updated to the latest nvidia drivers

Anyone else than me experinceing problems with this torrent?
I have a great computer, and other games (like Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, COD Modern Warfare 3) runs just fine.
But NFS: The Run seems lagy, even when i run it on low settings (and even though the game itselfs suggests the highest possible settings for me). And it even makes my computer turning itself off sometimes.
Any suggestions? What could be wrong? A bad installation?

J think J now why game runs slow. For example world normal map resolution mimimum is 2040 max 4096, texture map resolution is 4096, if we somehow can edit engine or game exe to reduce this 4096 values. J reduced 4096 values in batman ac. default engine.ini to 512 and game runs much faster. If we can create default engine.ini file for nfs the run or another type of file, maybe game run better. J am not good in this programing. J give an idea for people who maybe can.

Torrent is great. Fast download. Easy and fast installation,cracking is the easiest BUT! this game lags so badly I closed it and uninstalled it after 2 races. Even when I play it on the lowest graphics possible and set the screen resolution to 1280*960,it still lags. :S And the subtitles are out of sync with the sounds.

torrent is very nice. the game on the other hand is the worst game EVER. the graphics are terrible (i tried to play on ultra and still i didnt see a good result) the fps are very low (on ultra i got more or less 5 fps, on low settings/display i got 30) and that on a very good laptop, subs are out of sync and the cars usually dont steer at all. also for some stupid reason u cant play with the arrows..... and its 15GB torrent and 17GB after installation.

I installed and copied the game finely, everything is perfect and fine. The game starts also finely. The ONLY problem i encountered were these : -
1> When i select to play "RUN" it starts with a short video with guy trapped in porsche. And then the game asks you to escape, how do i escape now ? I am playing this game on laptop keyboard, which KEYS should i use to escape, as i was more used to the regular accelerate, brake, turn, nitrous keys for NFS. How do i come out of the car and ESCAPE ???
2> I tried to go into the settings of the game and change the game controller settings / keys to play the game. BUT as i entered the settings ai can't change any keys to play (as are assigned by default) And no key information comes on screen either.

So finally plugged a controller in and set it up, all the controls work, except the accelerate and there's no button remapping for controller, only keyboard and wheel. I believe its the programmer's fault though, lot of complaints on similar things on the NFS website.

Good torrent, downloaded it and installed it without problems, I cracked the file and everything I had to do saying in the .NFO file. Game starts up perfectly but when I reach the splash screen and I press "Enter" to Begin I see in the upper right corner a "Loading Button" which disappears after a while. But then it gets stuck on the Splash Screen... I can still see the short videos but it won't start...
Any Help would be welcomed with a smile.

I've noticed some people get the message about their disc being full during installation. It automatically installs on the D: drive and on some computers that is the recovery drive and if thats the case you have to chose to install it to the C: drive. My graphics card is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 1gb.
I've tried to update my driver in some different ways but i'm still getting the same error.
Anyone knows the problem?

Missing part35.rar during install (extraction)?
The way to resolve this issue:
1. Make sure you add a 2nd virtual drive in for example Deamon Tools. (Right click>Virtual Drive>Add SCSI Virtual Drive)
2. Mount the 2nd disk (rld-nfstrb) with this 2nd virtual drive.
3. When the 'error' pops up, click BROWSE and go to your 2nd virtual drive (mounted with 2nd nfs disk) and go to the GAME folder
4. Click GameFiles.part35.rar
Tadaaaaaa
(So the problem is part 35 is on disk 2. Trying to switch from disk 1 to disk 2 on one virtual drive will make the setup go crazy. This way it worked for me).

If you are having errors during installation create an "Electronic Arts" folder in the Program Files or Program Files (x86) and set this as the install location. I know they added the second Program Files folder for Windows 7 and I believe also Vista. I don't know why exactly, maybe to clean up the program files?
I was having this same issue below, except it said Chunks1.sb instead of 0.

As soon as I changed the install directory the installation completed without any issues. Will comment as soon as I get this game installed. I'm excited to try it out!

For those Having problems with the controls.
I have a USB Controller similar to a ps3 controller which I was having problems with. I downloaded a Key mapping software called "XPADDER"

After I mapped the keys, some of the buttons on the controller were acting up. What I have figured out so far are, the x key pauses the game for some reason, the R1 is for nitrous, the triangle button is for changing the camera angels. THESE BUTTONS YOU CANNOT CHANGE OR MAP. LEAVE THESE BUTTONS BE. You can however map the rest of the controller. So set the rest of the controller appropriately.
PRESS THE SPACE BAR AND THE ENTER KEY WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO GET OUT OF THE CAR IN THE BEGINNING.
I post more if I find anything out. Thank you.

If you guys havent dont so yet I recommend downloading and installing the patch, i dont think this will do anything internet wise, maybe disconnect your internet when installing.

Hey, i downloaded this torrent and got it installed successfully. After i've overwrited the original .exe with the one inside the crack folder, the game refuses to start. I checked my processes and everything, noticed it will run there (in processes) few seconds and automatically closes after. I've tried to run it as administrator and shit, but still not working.. Listen, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. If you want a decent racing game for PC, steer clear of NFS:TR. The graphics are terrible, the controls are clunky, the story is boring, the races are forgettable, and worst of all, the game is limited to 30fps. This is one of the worst console ports I've ever seen. No Anti-Aliasing option, graphics settings don't mean much considering the games looks pretty bad to begin with... Downloaded in less than 2 hours. Install is really smooth and easy. Cracking is the easiest thing to do.
But this...this game sucks ass. Do not play this on the PC. Buy the game for a console. It has LIMITED FRAMES PER SECOND (FPS). That is why it is so laggy and slow. I tried playing on the highest graphics and the lowest as possible, still the same old shit as before, SLOW AND LAGGY. Nothing can fix that.
And all of you newbies not able to install this game, read the freaking "Read me" txt. At least be good at reading, if you suck at installing.
The default installation directory is set to D: hard drive disk. You need to create a new folder on your C: hard drive. When the set up pops up, just change it. Click on the small box with three dots, next to the "D: Games/Need For Speed The Run" and change it to C. Use Daemon Tools to mount both iso files. When it asks for "part35.rar", a pop up will come up. Go to "My computer" and select disc 2. Select the "Game" folder and open it. The "part35.rar" is there, select it and click "OK". It will continue to install until it's done.

This game has good concept for my taste, but car handling...GEEEEZZZZ awful awful, unbelievable, it seems nfs Porsche felt better. This was reason why i left NFS series before. In this game car moves from side to side on road when you steer yes. But thats about it. Absolutely no reaction on road surface. Steering is extreeeemly slow. I have absolutely no prob. with performance, my pc is fast enough for this, just car physics and handling, way below of anything i've recently seen.

Of what I have seen of NFS:The Run, I have liked the idea of playing only one mission particularly. It is the one involving going downhill with things being blasted on to your path. I don't know if it is worth downloading 15GB of Data to just play the one mission. I would like to know if there are similar missions in this game before I download. When you want to mount or burn an ISO, use PowerISO or UltraISO (I recommend PowerISO), you can mount the entire game (all dvd's) at the same time if you so like to.
PowerISO lets you easily burn the ISO file as an original DVD straight from the ISO file with Boot/autorun sections enabled automatically.
Just open PowerISO, burn image to DVD, done.

SOLUTION*** How to install *** (For those who are asking)
1. Download PowerISO
2. Extract both DVD into a New Folder
3. Run OriginInstaller
4. Change the "..." to the Folder you extracted it so it's easy to find. Run installer
5. Copy the "Need For Speed The Run" from the /Crack folder
6. Paste it to the new /Need For Speed The Run folder

As soon as i press enter to start the event, it tries to connect to ea server and nothing happens. Guys i downloaded the game and installed it and placed the crack but when i start the game and after a notification says dont turn off the computer while this sign is displayed (saving to HDD), after that notification nothing appears, its just a black screen until i am forced to close the game.
