Because NetStumbler doesn't work well with Windows Vista and 64-bit Windows XP, we decided to build an open-source Wi-Fi network scanner designed for the current generation of Windows operating systems. @klepp0906: It was uploaded in November 2008, so it was probably version 1.0 before they split to Home (free) and Office/Commercial versions.
