Kirothius (2008-05-15)

do you have the .srt file for English Subs?

Kirothius (2008-05-15)

Nevermind my last comment, I just figured it out. Sorry, I'm a dumbass at times.

jpm817 (2008-05-18)

I'm sure I'm being an idiot here, but I still can't get the subs to show up. I added the two ttf files to my fonts, as well as all the other ttf files in the 'other fonts' folder. But I still only get a bunch of boxes for the subs. Also, anyone know what to do with the .ass files?

SanchoPanzar (2008-05-20)

Here's what you do, as it took me a while to figure out. I did this with VLC Media Player too.
Unzip both rar files. I really shouldn't have to say this part though...
Put the fonts in the windows fonts folder. Fonts folder is located through My Computer->Windows
Open VLC
File -> Open File
Find the episode you want and click the Use Subtitles checkbox.
Navigate to the DvD Resync file after clicking Browse for the subtitle box.
The ASS files (lol) are the subtitles, correlate the number in the file name with the episode. They are in order except for some reason episode 1's ASS file was at the bottom of the list.
The subtitles are kinda lame at some points as they stack words making some things unreadable, but it's not very often nor is any of it really important, only happens when two people talk.
Hope this helps you other newbs =)
Enjoy!

Thanks a million!!! That was really helpful!

The_Unsung_Bard (2008-05-25)

I can't seem to get the comments to work on Windows Media Player 11 or on VLC player, something about an improper format.

The_Unsung_Bard (2008-05-25)

Excuse me, by comments I meant subtitles.

I looked into the subtitles files for ep 15 and 16 and have fixed them. Here:

Great anime, I'll help with the seeding!

Thanks! +1

Widescreen, finally. Thanks a ton.

heenryt (2009-05-02)

Does anyone have the fixed subs for 15 and 16, the links that were posted don't work.

jordanwb (2009-08-16)

What's with the weird file names of the fonts? Most of them are all question marks and my decompressor can't differentiate between them. What's wring with using Times New Romans or Arial for these subs?

jordanwb (2009-08-16)

Disregard my previous commented. I had not seen the zip file with the correct fonts.

IdleGuy (2009-10-16)

Thanks for the season, pity about the subs.
These are, by far, the most annoying subtitles I've ever seen on a show. Ugh.
It's sickengly huge, and very thin to boot? Who the hell made this? Did it come with the DVD or did someone just want to act like a cock by making the most illegible font ever?
Either way, does anyone know any normal fonts that run with the show?

this show looks good. i recently watched Blood+ and was blown away by that and now want to watch more anime, but the choice is so huge. can anyone recommend any shows like Blood or Code Geass, you know, a bit more grown up and serious but with kick ass demons, mecha and shit?
