Cheers Chakra! I see that you are dedicated to this truth business and thats great. I love it how you break up the hours for us. And even when the chips are down with this website (PB) you still manage to slip the infowar through the cracks, ie Mininova. Awesome effort! One thing I can not understand though is the recent topic about $50 a barrell oil brought forward by Lindsey Williams. I can see how this will collapse the Middle East economy however, I can't see how it will collapse the US economy as suggested on the show. Would'nt cheaper oil lower prices of not only fuel but also food ect?
I would be thankfull if someone could take the time to explain this to me in laymans terms. Much appreciated for the torrent Chakra, take care.

I think his idea on how it would crash the US is that the middle east has been trading their oil for our dollars for decades now and through various trade deals and what-not (CIA, economic hit men, etc) they have been holding a majority of the dollars (in sovereign wealth funds and the like) rather than allowing the natural market forces to operate and eventually raise the price of oil to compensate for the trade imbalance (we buy more from them than they buy from us).
So if the price of oil suddenly drops Mr. Williams thinks, or is relaying a message, that the middle eastern countries will not be able to support their welfare/socialized society on that lower price and will be forced to use their wealth funds to finance the difference and/or try to bring the price of oil up which would actually bring the value of the dollar down.
OK, so if you're not confused yet... I'll keep typing. Right now the dollars they hold in their wealth funds have nearly zero impact on our monetary base because they are not circulating. Once they release those dollars back into our/the world economy the monetary base will effectively increase and inflation, as the Austrian School defines it is an increase in the supply of money & credit. So more dollars in circulation = lower value for each dollar = need more dollars to buy goods = eventual increase in price.
So i believe that's his theory. I'm more in Bob Chapman camp that we'll see a temporary rise in inflation but eventually we are going to see deflation (decrease in the supply of money & credit) as these banks and financials go under. As they brought up on the show yesterday there's a whole lot more credit in the system due to fractional reserve banking than there is actual money. In the current atmosphere of nervous banks unwilling to lend, we're seeing a very real decrease in the supply of credit so this should equate to deflation.

Also (as i mentioned in yesterdays post) check into mises.org and check their media archives. They post books for free and have tons of material on economics. Yup.....AND.... none of that even matters when the money supply is now secret and they are flooding the market with dollars and doing rescue operations on banks and others that should be allowed to fail...... We're at the end of the Republic enjoy the ride....weeeee

Hi Chakra. You have put on track. I had to read what you had written about three times to grasp it, lol, but I feel I like I understand this now. Thanks from New Zealand!
