I agree with your analysis of Algore.
That watermelon description is beautiful, "Green" on the outside, but secretely "red to the core".
Wish I could use that, but it's way too easily misconstrued.

I first heard the term in Chris Horner's "Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming" I had completely forgot that it could be misconstrued as a racial insult.
"An Inconvenient Truth" is an endless series of emotional manipulations aimed at the soft minded and children. I am amazed at how many people have bought into it.
Like Rush, I am an enthusiast of Apple's products (but not their advertising) and the prominent display of his Powerbook and Keynote stood out to me. Gore is on their board of directors and the unsubtle product placement was annoying.
I work in a business that sells computers and Apple ships its products with a ridiculous amount of shipping materials. Their recent claims of greater environmental responsibility through reduced packaging is very misleading and show signs of Gore's slime trail.
Along with his Nobel Prize, they should give Rush his position on their board for his unbiased loyalty and open and honest promotion of their products.
I suspect he may have had a lot to do with Carbonite developing a Mac version of their service, too.
