I'm gonna watch the movie now, I've noticed that the resolution is pretty low, most 15" laptops are capable of 720p, DVDs have a resolution of 720 x 576, which is most likely to be 576p, although these torrents have a far less resolution (Except 1080p HD torrents), what i'mgetting at is, why? What's the difference? Apart from a smaller player in your media player. Is it upscaled with your HDTV? I believe it is, but clarification will be nice.

Use GOM Player - it works just as gud as VLC and you dont get all you movies turn into stoopid 1930's graphics cones [ you get pawprints instead] [ but its better than no improvement]
