followed the readme and i'm also getting no BGM... then tried to pause the game and it crashed. if you don't mind playing without BGM it's just fine probably.

It seems like midi works (which is selected from the start), but midi is really bad quality and if you try to change to wav like me, you will notice that no music at all is playing anymore. The reason is simple: The bgm-data is missing. But you cannot change back to midi for some reason. To cut a long story short, just download it from somewhere else. I now have a game which is working completely fine.
