If you have not heard Douglas Spotted Eagle, please do yourself a favor and listen to all of his excellent recordings. This is a man who picked up a flute when he was a boy and has progressed into one of the finest musicians - most importantly, who plays from his heart. If his music had to be classified, it would be ethnic/new age, but it is music you feel as you listen to it, a rare gift that few artists are capable of or possess. This is an excellent sampling of his works, by the way. "Human Rites," "Pray" and "Voices" are all outstanding, as are all of his releases. He is an artist who absolutely deserves a much wider audience.
