The subs are hard burned in the movie, so no need to download extra subs. ;)

is there anyway to turn the subs off? also this video doesn't play with media player classic w k-lite codec pack but will play in VLC

The subs can't be turned off unless you try something with a subber program that makes it possible to remove the subs. But I don't think that it will be good for the quality of the movie (and since it is cam, it would get bad).
And I have tested it in WMP with k-lite mega codec pack and that works fine. Strange though it doesn't work in the Clasic player.
