Well if you think XviD is the same format as X264 mp4 i suggest you google it then you may understand the difference

This is not even in avi format. This is in .mp4. That's the difference. Look at the size of the file. safcuk has 800mb+ this is only 600mb+. X264 encoding library makes you encode at a lower file size with better quality.
