Oskar treats Rasmus to a share of his breakfast and then a share of the wandering life as they encounter one adventure after another. They discover that they share a common stigma, for no one likes a hobo or an orphan. Their friendship grows into a strong bond, ending in the formation of a comfortable home for both wanderers.
