mrgrey24: (Mount) means to use a (CD-DVD digital images player). I recomend you DEAMON
TOOLS. It creates a digital fake DVD with the file that you will download from this torrent.
1- Install DEAMON TOOLS or just burn the file in a DVD. (if you use DEAMON TOOLS, then you will save many DVDs or CDs.)
2- Run the program in the auto-run and follow the steps above in the description.

I downloaded the .iso, mounted with Daemontools Lite, installed using the autorun, copied the contents of the crack folder and pasted(and overwrited) them into the C:\Program Files(x86)\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed, and even tried copying all of the contents of the mounted folder, but every time I try to run any application, it says "Assassin's Creed Game has stopped running...". Any known fixes? Thanks in advance.

I didn't see the crack folder in the "fake disk" created by Daemon tools. Juste copy what include the crack folder and overwrite :)

Ilias15 I had the same problem as you. Go to the fake folder Daemon Tools created when you mounted the iso file, then you'll see the 'crack folder', just copy everything in there and pasted it on your Assassin's Creed inst. folder (probably C: something.../ubisoft/assassin's creed) then run the game and enjoy :)

Ok, I found the crack but I use a windows xp 32 bit so i dont have a program files (x86) folder, I just have a program files folder, I also dont have a folder names "games" within my program files folder but I just pasted the crack into the program files anyways to see if it would work, I also pasted them again so it would overwrite it (is this was you meant by overwrite?) Sorry if im misunderstanding something, help much appriciated

Ok, let me shed some light here. First, I do believe this is the FIRST game of the Assassin's Creed series (having not played any before I can only assume, due to the story line thus far). Second, for those having difficulty with the download and running of this game I'll walk through what I did. Upon successful download of the iso file I mounted it using Daemon Tools and used the autorun to install the game. When the game completed install, I selected the "Play" option of the autorun, this started an update. I let the update complete, after it completed it then said that I needed to insert a disc. So i canceled out of the game completely and unmounted the ISO. I then re-mounted the ISO and when the autorun window appears, rather than selecting "Run autorun", I selected "open folder to view files", wherein lies a folder labeled "Crack", double click this, copy both files contained, go to Program Files (x86) > Ubisoft > Assassin's Creed > and then paste the two files into that location, and yes you need to COPY AND REPLACE. At this point you should be able to run the game again, and it will not ask for a disc. Hope this solves some problems! P.s. I am not far into the game, however, so far it does seem to be running smoothly.

Hi guys, I'm having an issue and I really hope someone can help! I downloaded and installed Assassin's creed with this torrent a few days ago. Every time I played, there was a little update at the beggining, then the game started normally. I already played for like 4 hours.
Now, when I try to open the game, I see the little update window, then nothing happens. The update ends and the whole process is open without anything happenning. I tried running it as administrator and it didn't help. Any ideas?

Guys it's really simple
1: mount with daemon tools
2:install game
3: this is important! find the cracked folder and then copy those files into the folder where you installed the game.
4: now dont press the game button in the game directory but press "AssassinsCreed_Dx10.exe"
or "AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe" which ever you like.
5: ENJOY! this is the first game of the series by the way. im going through it now and it seems to work fine.

Enter My Computer, then your main hard-drive (likely C:), 'Windows', 'System32', 'drivers', 'etc', then open the 'host' file in notepad and add these at the bottom:
216.98.48.18 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.53 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.57 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.133 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.134 127.0.0.1
Save and exit the document, and the issue is fixed.
If save/exit not working (Windows privilege system) copy 'host' file to some other folder, edit it there, save it and then copy/replace it on the main file.
