Efta botoca is a romanian violinist from banat (south-western Transylvania). He plays with a classic backing-trio of strings (contrabass, cello and bratch) and the occasional guest soloist (clarinet and taragot on the first album). Especially he doina's have a really nice interplay between the two soloist's. The music is very typic for the Transylvanian region - lots of hungarian influence.
