so have a general question - why are most HDTV shows posted with stereo mp3 audio instead of the 5.1 audio broadcast with?
it's great to download and play on our large screen TV off a burned DVD. but miss the surround sound.
lots faster to download the 624x352 res version - looks fine on hdtv TV. but end up downloading the hires version & down converting it - just to get 5.1 audio.
do most capture cards down convert broadcast audo to stero?
