The hum goes away if you switch from stereo to mono . Weird , never had that happen before .

The hum is annoying.
But it goes away if you switch one thing in ffdshow audio decoder configuration.
mixer > speakers configuration: same as input
And the hum goes away!

Forget the 'hum'
The subs in this are garbage.
There are 1-2 better versions available.
