I played the english version till memory 3, then i installed the russian version and played the russian version to the end of level jerusalem, again installed the english version and load the save and now playing the english version from end of jerusalem. This way you get to play 2 new memorys, but again when you enter jerusalem the game crushes. The jerusalem file is corrupted.

I found out what is wrong with Jerusalem.forge
When every .forge file is opened with Lister (part of Total Commander) at the begining displays:
scimitar and a lot of black cubes.
Jerusalem.forge doesn't have that kind of file begining.

Assassin's Creed 1 Stuttering and Freezing Fix
Enter My Computer, then your main hard-drive (likely C:), 'Windows', 'System32', 'drivers', 'etc', then open the 'host' file in notepad and add these at the bottom:
216.98.48.18 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.53 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.57 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.133 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.134 127.0.0.1
Save and exit the document, and the issue is fixed.
If save/exit not working (Windows privilege system) copy 'host' file to some other folder, edit it there, save it and then copy/replace it on the main file.
