what up brickop!? hey do you know any apps that could lower the bit rate on some of my other HD .mkv files ....I have WD tv and it lags up on crazy bitrate files ......any suggestions is appreciated thx.

You might be able to use Handbrake it has a similar option to lock in the mb size. Smaller the size=lower bitrate. Ripbot also does MKV

I Use Ripbot264 to encode these movies. I dont do step by step instr. Google Ripbot there are plenty of sites to help. Its very easy to use.
