Celebrities have become custodians and promoters of "incurable" diseases and growing links to drug companies and think tanks.
It is easy to "cure" "AIDS" when it is understood that it is the diagnosis, prior health challenges and the treatment, sometimes in combination that can kill.
If "AIDS" (29 old diseases) is caused by one virus that is supposed, on the one hand, to be so deadly and yet on the other hand have a laten period of 20 years perhaps we should question whether the virus has been isolated properly, whether the tests do detect a virus or just general antibodies, whether the meds prolong life or shorten it. What about Africa?????

You are true recognize187 in the first argument where the money are spent. Western medicine emphases treatment, and only small part of money is devoted to research of the turnover of the industry. However, I think this is not the cause of capitalism, but the socialistic nature of goverments where individuals are not the ones who decides, but the government bodies such as FDA. I would say we live in a socialistic world with which ensures high control by government. The capitalism is the use of the monetary system.

Great upload! Quality isn't as crisp as I'd like but the film is perfectly watchable and nicely compressed in comparison to other versions presently available.
Great performances all around, especially from Justin Kirk, Al Pacino, and Mary-Louise Parker - one of my favorite modern plays on the page and a kick-ass adaptation on screen. Ignore the ridiculous comments from ricciricci and the government conspiracy gang and let this movie highlight the emotional component of the AIDS epidemic for you.
