Needs Patch! This is the Rosetta Stone application version 3.2. This version is required for all newly released Version 3 Languages- Japanese, Chinese, etc. It is not required for the English, German, Spanish, Arabic, Italian, or Russian Version 3 languages.

Thanks mpower 07, great upload! This is the hybrid V.3.2, it contains a working Mac version 3.2 as well. (These's currently no k, neither Mac v.3 nor v. 3.2)

I´ve installed 3.2 version now, french language pack is installed as well, but even without a crack it should give you access to some lessons of the package (like it did in version 3.0 until you activate)... but when I press start it does not give me anything but a blank screen... anybody got the same problem?

how to go back from 3.2 to 3.0?
Here, what to do:
1) uninstall the app 3.2
2) find a 'rosetta stone' folder in Document and Settings.
3) delete it. Or, at least delete tracking.db3
4)install the app 3.0, and patch it to 3.0.57
5) install any version 3.0 language you want
6) w8t for a crack for v3.2

actually, I just for be stuborn, installed v3.2.11 over the well working v3.0.57 *patched and used* and no problem - worked w/o any new cracking or patching
v3.2.11 does not need a licencing.dll any longer (it is an update not an upgrade)
Only created to support the new released Japanese and Chinese languages in V3

well, not satisfied with the answers to my question (were they even directed toward me?), i upgraded my patched 3.0.57 to 3.2 with this file, and it worked! ...only it deactivated my f-ing rosetta. bummer. SO, don't upgrade yet unless you plan on buying or only doing the first 6 or 7 activities in the 1st unit. bummer.

wait patiently until new Patch for FNInterface.dll arrives from Green Celery or do it in Ultra Edit yourself - I do not know how, hmm but can see into it, read it.. -
Until then, this v3.2.11 is just simply a TRIAL Version - free download from rosetta.com - most usnits are grayed out...

OK, I play with this on another pc and a dual boot for xp and vista so my v3.0.57 with western languages does not get fuct up and default to trial version.
YourUninstall 2008 will kill all reg. entries then start all over again - worth it! - these programs worth a fortune, cost more.:-)

Pls help....I've got version 3 russian language discs. but a version 2.something installation disc. can't run my language discs on the version 2. Where can I download a version 3 installation? Or can I use a patch to upgrade my existing installation disc.

Does this application crash for anybody else other than me? I used it fine for one lesson (french V3 level 1) but the next day when I wanted to take my 2nd lesson, it just crashed on me. Not just the app. but my whole computer. I got the microsoft blue screen of death and my computer shut down. I got a stop error with a long code. I tried another couple times but I got the same result (BSOD and crash). I went and installed this on my laptop with the same result (system crash) and the same on my other desktop computer. For some reason, it crashes on all of my computers. Has this happened to anybody else? Anybody found a fix yet?

Do you use NOD32? I was having the same problem. I disabled NOD32 and it seems to be working....so far.

hi so I downloaded this but i cant figure out how to make it work. The installer file opens with a program I dont think I have and I cant seem to get it working. I GOT A HUGE PROBLEM and need serious help
u downloaded this and installed it like a charm
but when i try to add this language pack
Japanese Level 1

i already patched the app with this

but when i try to install the language pack it starts saying calculating remaining time..and then after it calculates it either starts installing or automatically shuts down my pc and two of the times it gives me the blue screen of death like on win98 b4
ive tried this 3-4 times already and keeps getting this failure no error msg either just shuts down in an instant
ANY IDEAS?? I REALLY WANT TO GET THIS WORKING

Hi m8's! I'm trying to get this thing installed on Vista, and I keep getting the same problem. In the middle of the installation a screen pops with the numbers "5118, 9212".
Then the instalation is interrupted and rolled back. What am I doing wrong?

tried to install the japanese version u said which i already had

but when calculating it shut down again.

I have downloaded the application followed all instructions, patched loaded russian language version 3 level 1. I get as far as the login screen and as soon as I select myself click ok I get the follow

Wow! I've never seen a torrent with so many comments talking about several different issues with no apparent fixes. I tried downloading another torrent of this and prolly got a virus. I think I'll stick with the old version...

@ic33y. The problem is a hidden file called "tracking.db3". This hidden file may not show up if you do a search in Windows for it. In XP, you can find the file under "Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Rosetta Stone". For Vista its in C:\ProgramData\Rosetta Stone. I just deleted the whole folder after unistalling rosetta, rebooted the PC and then followed the instructions for this file. Hope this helps. Can't take the credit though. Found this with a google search.

For those having the blue screen of death upon installing any language level, check if you have Nod 32 2.7 or something similar.
It seems to somehow conflict with the installation of the program, so try to get the newest version of it.

I would really apreciate some help with this. I have installed the application successfully and everything but when I launch the RS version 3 application and try to install the mounted language that I have I get a message saying "you must have administrative permissions to use this feature" and doesn;t let me proceed with the language installation. What can I do??????

Marsman1 & Robertdover8, I had this same problem and after toying around a bit found the solution. This is actually an issue with Windows, you need to change the security permissions of the Rosetta Stone folder. Find the folder that the program is in, program files>rossetta stone, and then right click on the folder and select properties. Then select the security tab, then click the edit button. Go through all the user names and click the full control button "allow" box. Apply the settings and you should be all set to install the languages and use this as instructed. I am running Vista but I think this will do it for XP as well. Hope this helps you!
