There's two folders. One contains a single executable file, this is the one you want. The one with the executable files and the dll, these are backup files in case something goes wrong. :)

Neverming, the crack works with Windows 7 64bit as well, I was using the wrong EXE.
the correct EXE to use is the one where the TRAINER folder is

I installed the game a few times, put the crack in. But everytime i start the game, my screen goes white like it is opening a new window, with the top tab bar there. and the new mouse for the game and then everything just disappears and it goes back to the desktop...Any help?

Crack doesnt work, it still makes you put in a serial number and activate the game online anyway so it does nothing. Dont bother downloading it.

I had some trouble installing Anno 1404 & the addon, Venice, so I decided to write up easy to follow instructions! This is how I installed it, so if this doesn't work for you, don't blame me! Thanks to Razor1911, thenoobish, everyone who seeds, & most of all, Ubisoft! If you like this game, you should buy it to support them!
Part 1 - Installing the game
1) Download Anno 1404
2) Open the folder
3) Right click the very first file in the folder ('rzr-144a', it's a 001 file) & open it with WinRAR (or whatever program you have)
4) Select 'extract to' & pay attention to what folder you're extracting to!
5) Open that folder, & you'll see an ISO file
6) Open that file using VirtualCloneDrive, or another suitable mounting program
7) Run that drive, as you would a normal CD or DVD & install the game
Part 2 - Cracking the game
1) Download the crack
2) Open the folder
3) Open the folder 'Razor1911'
4) Copy the 'Anno4' EXE to your Anno 1404 main folder (if you installed it in the default location, it'll be in Program Files > Ubisoft > Related Designs > ANNO 1404), overwriting the original EXE
5) Click on this new EXE to play the game! (Or, continue to install the addon Venice)
Part 3 - Installing Venice
1) Download the addon
2) Open the folder
3) Select all the WinRAR files & right-click & select 'Extract Here'
4) This will create another ISO file, which you run with VirtualCloneDrive, or whatever
5) Run that drive, as you would a normal CD or DVD & install the game
6) It will patch Anno 1404 before installing, so don't worry if it takes a while to bring up the actual installation process
7) Go to your Anno 1404 main folder (if you installed it in the default location, it'll be in Program Files > Ubisoft > Related Designs > ANNO 1404) again, & click 'addon.exe'
8) Select 'Manual'
9) Copy the 'Hardware ID'
10) Go to My Computer, right-click the mounted ISO image & select 'Explore'
11) Open the 'Crack' folder, run the 'keygen.exe'
12) Paste your Hardware ID into the box & click 'Generate'
13) Copy the Activation Key in the Activator & click next
14) The game will launch & you're ready to play!
