THis game is GREAT!
I hope LucasArts releases more games like this one and Jedi Academy.
The graphics is great, not only for the time of its creation but in present day as well, it rivals games like UT and HL2 imo, especially the ability to slice body parts off of your enemies, its really brilliant :D

i downloaded this game and there is a porblem (as with jedi knights: jedi academy) when i try to instal it says that there isn't enough space in my disc, but all 4 disks have enough space. the one i try to instal to has 8gb and the main disc (where windows are instaled) has 1.7gb. Hi, I downloaded the whole thing and extracted it all
Put it on to a cd and installed the game.
I got to the main screen and clicked new and then begin game but it said that I needed to insert a cd. I had the cd that I put the files onto in my drive but it didn't recognise it. I also tried no-cd patches but it said that I was missing something, sorry I can't remember what.
Please could somebody help me!

No cd patches do not work.
You got to uninstall game, and delete whole game directory where the game was installed.

for any noobs
1.download torrent
2.extract files using winrar
this should create a new folder with all the winrar files in to one big file
3.using daemon tools (or anything this mounts images i.e. alcohol120%)mount the big winrar file
4.install game (autorun will automaticly appear if uv mount image correctly)
5.once complete do not use the auto run to start single player game instead quit
6.use desktop icon simply double click and have fun

OK here you can download Daemon Tools www.daemon-tools.cc if you are too lazy to download it you can also burn the ISO with Nero and then install it from CD. But if you are ready with the install do not start the game up from the CD just put the CD in it's case and run Jedi Knight 2 from your desktop!

u assume just cuase it dont work for u it dont work at all, if its an iso, about 95% of the time it works.
if deamon tools doesnt work for u(it doesnt for me for some reason) then try winmount u can get a trail version and for some reason it never runs out.

well i havnt downloaded it but i presume:
1. the iso is located in th rar file.
2. to open the console: SHIFT + §
3. many gets the problem with the "console shutting down error" i had the sam problem myself untill i mixed a little like installing the latest patch to the game and reinstalled directx and so one. suddenly it worked. :S

To all who have OpenGL problem:
I had same problem with it's sequel - Jedi academy. On my ATI card with Win 7 the game couldn't open,
and this post solved it:
Newer versions of ATI catalyst drivers don't support older OpenGL games, but there's a way to make older drivers work without downgrading drivers for the whole system. So, both games have the same Q3 engine and perhaps you can make it run with this..

I have a onboard video card with 256 MB of memory. I used to play this game with this same computer and configurations, but now I can't play anymore, same goes with Jedi Academy.
When I start the game, I get a gray screen and then a small window pops up saying the game stopped responding. Before that, another window briefly appears, and I could read this "couldn't load default.cfg".

What are you people keep talking about? im on win7, i downloaded, right clicked 1st archive, extract here, double clicked the iso it created, autorun started, in setup i selected custom so i can choose where i will install it, after the install i updated the game with the 2nd file that came with the iso from archives and that was it, i played the game with no problems, no crack needed, and i just remembered why i deleted it the 1st time i played it, you have to save from time to time or you'll start over if you die.
