FakeFactory has released the 9th version of the legendary Cinematic Mod that improves the graphics and appearance of the Half-Life 2 series by bringing the Orange Box Engine to older series. Expect truely amazing graphics that rivals any game. Instalation: - Install Cinematic Mod V9 BASE - Install Cinematic Mod V9.5 Update From readme: ============================================== PERFORMANCE-WARNING: The Orangebox/Source Engine is getting outdated and performs poor compared to newer engines like the Cry-Engine or the Unreal-Engine. It's almost impossible to get good framerates with enhanced viewrange, hires-textures and high polycount. Therefore prepare yourself for fps below 40 in some open areas, unless you're using the latest NASA supercomputer. SNAPSHOT-RELEASE: V9.5 is a Snapshot-Release. Currently i have reached the source-engine limits in almost all areas. Unfortunately the limits are quite low. The current build of the source engine can't render detailed open areas or nice foliage without hitting this limits. Do not download this shi. it always crashes no mater what windows is 64 or 32 bits , vist or xp or windows 7 ( I tried all , on 2 comps ) , no mater what computer ( mine GT9600 4 gb ram ,4 , 3 core ghz processor . NOt posible to complete game , because some chapter can't even be loaded . It is hard to play from load point to load point without crash . it is just time waisting to download it

Must have Installed and started HalfLife-2/ EP1 / EP2 games from steam. Just HL2 is not enough and I can't get EP1 EP2 from cracked steam.
