Dude, Once I get in game, keyboard and mouse stop responding. Ctrl Alt Delete still works, so its something with the game.
Probably something with my computer. Oh well. Hope it works for you.

When I press play at the menu I get a message that says "wrong disc inserted: please insert the original THQ Evil Dead CD/DVD". Any ideas how to correct this?

Works fine for me, no problems at all. I'm, using win 7, 64bit.
About the game I think, it's mostly for evil dead fans, if u're not a evil dead fan, this is most likely not for you.

I followed the instructions to unzip the game and run it. I open the launcher, I try to open the game, and then I get an error message saying that evildead.exe has stopped working. I tried to adjust it to windows xp compatibility mode after that (service pack 2 and 3) and even ran it as admin, but the problem persists. at this point, does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? I'm new to video gaming on the pc, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was an error on my part. (I tried two different torrents of this same game, both games are giving the same result, so it has to be something I am missing).
