As already said, there seem to be something wrong with track 1, and same thing occur on track 9.
Or maybe Portishead do something they think is artistic. Shame on the strong ending on track 1 in that case...

I think track one is just like it should be. The idea came probably from the track "silence".
The production is a bit uneven, with Hunter and We carry on sounding like they have way too much reverb.. ://

$40...? No doubt that is for an import version. Amazon has the regular edition available for pre-order at around 15 bones. Entirely reasonable quite frankly, and I for one will be ordering my "official" copy for when this thing is properly released. These early leaks are the reason OiNK was shutdown, and for all we know this place could easily be headed for the same fate. Just saying...

sounds just like portishead to me. grainy texture, harsh and edgy tone with unusal time signatures.
key is limited to suit gibbons vocal range.
this album is more of the hard dischord style from their 2nd album than the trance meledy of their original and outstanding first album.
