I'm seeding at the moment and my rule is to seed aruond twice the time the downloads take.
It means that if a download takes around 15 hours i seed around 30 hours. I'm new at this so I hope that is good inough, or....?

The downloads stops at 89.9% with an error that says files missing.
Anyone know what to do?

The only way it would come up 'Files Missing' was if at some point you lost internet connection, and some files got corrupt - Try a 'Forced Recheck' to verify the torrent contents - No changes have been made to the folder the torrent points at...
