This is a full package of Warhammer 40k - Dawn of War. This includes: Warhammer 40k - Dawn of War Warhammer 40k - Dawn of War: Winter Assault Warhammer 40k - Dawn of War: Dark Crusade There are installation instructions with the game, and despite there being cracks on some of the disks, no cracking is necessary if you follow the installation instructions. If you follow the installation instructions, you will need no cracks and all races will be unlocked for your multiplayer games in Dark Crusade. Authenticity failure doesn't mean that archives are corrupted. You can still extract everything without problem (yes, it will show errors, but the problem is not with the contents of the archive, but with the additional information).
Try extracting with 7-Zip. It won't show you any errors at all.

neXuzDK, everything works fine. Just stop failing epicly. If you've got problems unraring it, that's entirely your problem - I've got no issues whatsoever on my end. And even if it DOES fail authenticity - the files work fine.
As for having to rename the .cue files - that's entirely up to you wheter you need to or not. Again, no problems on my end. Daemon Tools Pro have no problem opening up the files "as is", except that you have to tell it to specificly open up the .cue files yourself. I deliver this collection "as is" and all I did was compile it and do a short ReadMe with installation instructions.
And as for the installation being messy - again, not my fault. It is messy because the way the expansions for this game works, with you having to save CD-keys and whatnot. Not my fault, not my problem.

Luckman, authenticity check will fail on everyone's PC, because authenticity record contains the last modification time and it will be different for everyone and only you will have the right one.
The files are OK, though I haven't tested the game yet. Since no one has reported that it's not working, I guess it's safe to assume that your compilation works fine.

The reason I did this compilation was because of all the seperate torrents of Dawn of War that was up, with all it's expansions and whatnot. Some weren't even installation discs - just ripped installation directories. And none of them had instructions on how to get all races working in multiplayer, or how to avoid having to crack (something that almost -always- gives problems with patching).
And with the expansion Soulstorm coming in just a few, few days, something had to be done. ;)

I've tested the original game and I must say that it works without CD if you update game to v1.50 or v1.51. I've also installed Winter Assault, if it matters, but haven't tried it yet.

hey... I dont know if i missed something. I completed the dow install and everything seems to work fine.. but I cant mount winter assault cd. It sais that the file is not accessible.. and for some reason it wants to open in vlc;).. vlc media file(.bin) never happend before with any other bin or cue files. You mentioned something about renaming the file but that it shouldnt be nessisary.. i use daemon tools pro. any clue?

Inspecterduck, the "problem" with file not being accessible is because CUE file contains wrong name of the BIN. Just open CUE file with Notepad (or any other text editor you like) and change the name of the BIN file in the first line to the actual one. After that it will load without any errors.

When I install the DoW game I keep getting an error that says Data3.cab is corrupt. I have extracted it with winrar and 7zip and mounting them with alcohol 120. Anyone know how to fix?

I had no problems installing dow but when i tried to install the winter assault, everything goes fine until it is finished and then when I click okay it says it isnt authenticated and to contact someone about it. Then when i try to reinstall it gives that message right away. What can I do to fix that or get it installing correctly?

Okay, everyone who tries to mount the winter assault CUE - don't.
It doesn't work so you have to mount the BIN instead, to do this left-click on the Alcohol/Daemon Tools icon in the toolbar, select a drive and browse the BIN.

I installed this and all the patches, and it worked perfectly. Then when later reinstalling it (had it on a different hard drive, problems, etc), the patches won't work. It just gives me an error, saying that it can't find the right place to patch.

It keeps telling me that the wrong disc is inserted. I've tried mounting all 3 .iso's in the main game folder and even tried it with no .iso's mounted, but it doesn't work. Also, I can't install Winter Assault because I can't mount the .bin files that I was instructed to mount (they don't show up in the image-mounting menu.)

This install works just fine. Just follow the directions Luckmann gave and don't make up your own steps, or deviate from the instructions. You may get a couple notifications that you have the wrong CD prior to finishing all the install. Ignore them. Once everything is done, it works fine. Stop groveling for seeders. Just a hint dave, right click the download in the top box(if your useing bittorrent), go to Bandwidth Allocation and make sure you have it set to high. When I do that on mine it jumps from 4kbs too 20-100kbs depending on how many seeds I can get too.

I had the same error, "wrong disc inserted." All I did was reinstall the game and it worked fine after that. Just be aware that the patches that come with the game aren't the latest patches anymore.

ive d/loaded succeesfully and unzipped the reb-dow001.iso just as the instructions say. It installed fine but when i try to play it says "no disk inserted".
Ive uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, tried unzipping everything, tried putting everything in the same folder, tried relocating where it installs to or where it gets the data from but no matter what i do IT WILL NOT WORK.
Do i have to burn the data on to a disk for the game to run? Or am i missing something very basic?
I was told that windows does mounting automatically and that i dont need to worry about it unless i have a diff operating system. Is this wrong and i actually have to do something else. Or is my computer just being retarded?
PLEASE HELP!!! Ivve been trying everything i can think of and all of the suggestions made in previous comments for how to solve "wrong disk" but none of it helps. My mom is a computer programer and she doesnt know whats wrong.

I just want to say Thanks for the awsome torrent. I'll seed for awhile. Luckily mine DLed in less than 24 hours.
For those with the "Wrong disc" errors, try following the instructions. You have 2 ways available to get around this. Either copy the "W40K.EXE" file from the CRACK folder in the disc to the folder where the game is installed, or use the patches that were included in the Winter Assault folder.
I recommend patching it, not cracking it. The patch actually removes the disc security check that causes that error.

Unrar, then rename the bin and cue files, (Switch the bin and cue extensions) in the Winter Assault Expansion folder. This guy messed up the extensions. The .cue file should be the 600mgb one. This will allow daemon to read the file. I think the other ones are fine (correct me if I'm wrong).
While unraring, IGNORE the authentication messages. Close the box and the unrar will continue. This will not affect anything.

Its not wrong, .cue files are always the small once and .bin the big once. The thing is that daemon tools don't find the .bin of some reason, just switch so it looks for "All files" and it will find the .bin

I just saw a few comments about renaming and stuff... Guys, the cuesheet (.cue) is a small file describing the actual data (.bin), so don't swap extensions.
When you open a .cue and the program complains about not finding something, just open the .cue with notepad, locate where the path to the .bin is and REPLACE it with the .bin's filename. You can even rename the .bin differently as far as you remember to replace its name int he .cue as well.

Ok so here is my issue.
Everytime I try to install Winter Assault the update works just fine but when it goes to the install it pops up with an error message that says" This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package".
I followed all of the ReadMe instructions to the letter. I have even tried other torrents of Winter Assault and all the ones I have tried so far give the same message.
I am using an HP Pavillion Entertainment Pc running my brand new copy of Windows 7 Home Premium. The only fix I have found for this message involved going into the command prompt in a certain fashion to enable extra administrator privelages or something along those lines and it didnt fix the problem.
I have noticed that several people have asked about this issue but none of them recieved any help or an answer to their inquiries. I hope that someone will choose to take the time to respond to this.

If you're having trouble with mounting Winter Assault, it's probably because of a slight fail by the uploader when he renamed the Winter Assault Bin/Cue files. Open both .cue files with notepad and change the line inside them from rld-dowa.bin and rld-dowb.bin to reb-wa001.bin and reb-wa002.bin.

@Slammer94, I'm fairly certain that you can't play these online unless it's a LAN game, in which I know for a fact that it works. I have yet to find an illegal game that could be played online because each CD key is unique and once you play an online multiplayer game, it saves that CD key so it can't be used from a different person ever again. At least, that is typically how it works.

@Zydrex If you want to play any cd, you download and open daemon tools, right-click on mount image, find the file you are looking for (it should have a .iso file extension, meaning it is an image of a cd) The cd should start automatically, and you can start the installation process from there.

I unrared it, despite some errors unrarred fine, I only find one keygen in here, it says "Dawn of War Dark Crusade" the keygen spits out 20 digits, the key for the main game is 16 digits, when I tried entering hte first 16 digits the keygen provides, the main game did not accept it. So a bunch of people have commented about not being able to actually play the game because it says the wrong disk has been inserted. I'm having the same problem after following the instructions @teamoihateyou provided, which were wonderful. But now, as I try to follow the advice of others (which was to install Winter Assault and the patches included) it is telling me that there is a fatal error during installation, and it simply closes out. Ok, for those of you who are sucking at installing this game, here's what you do:
First off, READ THE README. Pretty straight forward. In case you think you're too good for that (or too lazy), here's the rest.
Install Dawn of War (and write down the key you get, you'll need it for the expansions). Ignore the crack or any patching.
Install Winter Assault (you may need to modify the disk images to mount them, take a look at Lastgateguard's post on how to fix it. It's easy, and works fine).
PATCH Winter Assault, or it won't run.
Install Dark Crusade, then patch it up as well.
Start Dark Crusade, it'll ask for the CD key for DC, plus the key from Dawn of War, so have it handy.
Winter Assault is the same way, make sure you have the first CD key.
Enjoy, don't suck, and next time, READ THE README.

Those that don't know what RAR files are, you suck.
Just go and look up a program called Winrar and "extract" the files.
And I forgot to tell you to keep ALL of your cd keys, not just Dawn of War. So make sure you do that, or you can't play all races on multiplayer.

Ok guys, THIS IS HOW TO GET THIS GAME WORKING: step by step by fukin step:
1. Unrar one of the rar files into a folder. (all of htem should extract even though youre only extracting one)
2. Mount the ISO file "reb-dow001.iso" in the "Main Game - Dawn of War" folder.
3. Now it gets tricky; install all patches first (they are in the winter assault folder). Then change the
.Cue files (reb-wa1 and reb-wa2) into "reb-wa001.cue" and "reb-wa002.cue". Do this by oppening the .cue files with Notepad. Their names should appear on the top. simply change them and save.
4. Mount Dark Asault and install patches.
The KEYGEN is inside the folder. There is a dropdown menu in it allowing you to choose which game you want CD key for. Make sure you write down all CD keys into something as you'll need it later. Peace out, hope i helped

Thanks ziomal77, that did the trick. The Dark Crusade patches also had this issue so I put them in the THQ/Dawn of War - Dark Crusade/Patch (NOT the same folder as the WA patches, DC has a separate Patch folder).
With this I finally got the game to run, thanks to some of the comments here. The installation was rather tricky but the game is worth it.

7) Press autoplay WA expansion installs when prompted put cd key

A buddy of mine who was having this issue with a legit copy of them turned me onto this trick:
1. Install Dawn of War and the other chapters if you have them
2. In 'C:Program Files (x86)THQDawn Of WarDrivers' there are two files spdx9_config.txt and nvidia.txt, create a new folder say
'Archive' in there create two further folders 'Original' & 'Modded', this can be in the same directory - you need to keep the original files.
3. The protection/permissions stops you altering the txt files but does not stop you copying over files.
4. So on your desktop create two dummy txt files and name them as the above and copy these into the 'Modded' folder, they don't need
any content at all, they just need the right file names.
5. Copy your original files into the other folder, Original, as you will need these to add patches later, I believe the software does a volume
check on the txt files and recognises it's changed - unsure but not a problem. Just copy them back when updating the game.
6. Place the dummy files into 'C:Program Files (x86)THQDawn Of WarDrivers' and then run the game - it should all work fine now but
He said advise not going for the "Windowed" option on configure as he found it buggey on his machine.
I'm here to grab the game for myself, so I'll get a chance to test it firsthand. Hope this works for me, and for anyone reading it.

This is just my experience of trying to install this collection. I had no issues installing Dawn of War. But I ran into issues installing Winter Assault. The 2nd Disc would not mount for me.
After installing Dawn of War I then mounted Disc 1 of Winter Assault and I used the file "Autoplay.exe" in Winter Assault. It proceeded to patch Dawn of War then it automatically began to install Winter Assault. But when it asked for Disc 2 I could not get Disc 2 to mount in Daemon Tools and it locked up the program.
After this failing a few times I decided to try another torrent and went to uninstall Dawn of War. During uninstallation the "IDrive" installshield locked up and would not continue to uninstall Dawn of War. But since I always use a program called "Your Unin-staller" to uninstall my programs or games it noticed this lock up from the main uninstallers and then continued to uninstalled and remove what it could. After that I used CCleaner to scan registry and get rid the leftover files from Dawn of War and deleted the game folder.
I have been installing pirated games and programs for about a decade and this is the first time I ran into such issues.

anyone else get a feature transfer error? i get when i try to install dark crusade. it says error: catastrophic failure

It's telling me I've got the wrong disk inserted. The one I've got mounted is the reb-dow001.iso
am I an idiot or is there something wrong?
