Hmm, both RELOADED and DETONATiON cracks works badly. Game crashes after a while and doesn't respond. RELOADED crack is better cause I can still call task manager or press winkey and than rightclick and close the game. DETONATiON crack crashes the game in the same way as RELOADED's one, but this makes screen to blackout and reset is the only option to close game. No alt+F4, no ctrl+alt+del, no winkey, no ctrl+esc no NOTHING. If smth, better use RELOADED's crack. And yeah, keygen IS NOT a trojan or virus or whatsoever else. AV programs LIE, LIE LIE!!! Waiting for smth that doesn't crash the game after while or so.

When the installer asks for a key, you use the keygen to generate one. then after install you copy the crack to the folder where you installed the game, when it asks if you wish to replace the .exe file you click yes.

I got this to work. I mounted the ISO file with daemon tools and then installed using the keygen in the crack folder (explorer-Mass Effect (E)-Crack). After installing the game I copied the MassEffect file in the crack folder to "binaries" inside the Folder in which you installed the game.

Sooo when I was playing I noticed alot of lagg and then I crashed. When I pressed ctrl-alt-delete I found ¨~40 instances of tnmp.exe that ate up my CPU. Now I can't start my AVG anymore....

I think the error I just posted has something to do with my video card. Ah, well!
Just incase anyone isn't sure what to do after downloading the torrent, here's everything I did.
Optional: Make a new folder (titled Mass Effect) just for easy navigation.
- Extract the .iso into that folder
- Run Setup.exe
- Open the 'Crack' folder and run rld-mekg.exe (this should open the key gen)
- Paste the generated key when asked for one in the setup.
I know some people are having trouble when it comes to running the game and being asked to confirm the serial key, and it does not work. This is what I've done and it works. Once the setup is done, go into the Mass Effect folder (or the folder you extracted the .iso in), open the 'Crack' folder, copy MassEffect.exe and paste it into the Binaries folder found in Program Files >> Mass Effect. All this does is replace the .exe in this folder with the cracked version.
There's also a problem with Configure Utilities crashing immediately after hitting "Play". I understand there are a few different ways to fix this.
1. Right click >> Properties on MassEffect.exe (and/or Configure.exe) and enable it to run with XP Service Pack 3.
2. Right click MassEffect.exe and run as Administrator.
3. Download this patch:

I have that very same issue. From what I've read, it seems that if you have a quite recent version of DirectX, the game gets confused and doesn't know what to do or how to use it.
It's not a hardware error, seeing as the error message directs you to the cracked .exe file.
I'm going to try downgrading DirectX to when the game was released. I'll post my results.

Well, I did encounter the "General protection fault!" the first time, but I only had to right click the launcher and choose "Run as administrator", but only that first time.

Whenever I try to launch the game it doesn't do anything... :/
If I use the shortcut/launcher the ME launcher opens but when I click "play" I get a loading circle on my mouse and nothing happens. If I use the .exe (bypassing the launcher) I only get the typical little loading circle on my mouse and then nothing happens. I don't get any errors or clues as to what's causing the problem.
I've tried...
- running it in compatibility mode
- not running it in compatibility mode
- downloading patch 1.02
- running the launcher as an admin.
- running the .exe as an admin.
- updating my video card drivers
- updating DirectX
- updating C++
If it's worth mentioning, my config program and everything works fine. The game itself just doesn't want to launch. Any help would be appreciated. :(

ok this is an update from my last comment.
after playing the game for about 4 hours or so, all I can say is that this game is buggy, no it's DAMN buggy!! I got to planet therum where you go to save liara, and as soon as I landed I noticed half the ground was black and didn't load correctly. and after reloading the level multiple times it still didn't resolve the problem. so yeah, this ISO is ok quality. btw, my game is updated to 1.02 and is still buggy as hell.

I am running this game on my Alienware M14x which is fully maxed out; the game is running on ultra-settings HD. So far had not had any issues after 3 hours of game play however I cannot access the galaxy map. When I go to it it appears to be off set or something I can see the "window mode" title and a few stars I can also hear the music. When I right click it shows the edge of some galaxy then I right click again it shows the edge of a different galaxy then I right click again it exits the galaxy map. The game doesn’t crash but I cannot advance to the next part of the game where I have to travel to one of three planets. I just got to specter status am I missing something?

I made an account just to say this.
This torrent is a pain in the ass. Don't get it expecting to just install and play. I've been working on it for hours and still can't play it.
First thing after installing, I had an error with configuration crashing. After I fixed that, I got a "General protection fault" which meant I had to go and get the official update. And now whenever I try to run the game, it asks me for a serial code. The ones the keygen gives you do *NOT* work for this, as it is an online registration. There's no way to bypass this. So, I figured I'd go find someone's on the internet. Big mistake. When I put that in, it said the activation limit had already been reached. From then on out, no matter what I did, every time I opened the launcher I got that same error. So, I had to uninstall the game.
Now I'm re-installing it, going to try another registration code, and almost certainly going to have to uninstall again.
P.S: I'm not a noob. I torrent games more often than you, and I've never had an issue. Yes the crack is in the right place. Yes I've tried other cracks.
Nothing. Works.

For those who have problems, just do this :
1) Mount the disc and install it. If you are asked a key, take this one : 6EQQ-BG4Z-5137-DAG5-3VTY
2) Download the patch 1.01a and 1.02 : and install them.
3) Download this crack : 4) The password of the .rar is : Conflict.4.gulli
Put the crack in C: Progames files/Mass Effect/Binaries and overwrite.
That's it. You can play now ! ;)

Hi everyone thought Id post the process I used to get the DLC content to work with the Pinnacle Station name in the DLC content box also.
I used the ViTALiTY install but this is the same.
Crack etc is mentioned in the comments above.

Mount Iso. Install Game using the Keygen in the ViTALiTY folder.
Delete desktop shortcut/s if there is one!!
Goto C:/Program Files/Mass Effect/Binaries/folder
Copy the MassEffect.exe Crack to this folder & Overwrite.
Create a Shortcut on the Desktop from the new overwriten .exe
Close Folder.
Recommended that disconnection of your internet is needed whilst in play.
Play the Game!!!!

First Delete the Mass Effect Desktop Shortcut! If you have one.
In the Mass Effect DLC Pack folder install the,

Ok as Iv read all the comments it seams its hard to follow directions for some. Just follow instructions or read threw the comments, it's listed over & over how to install the game!!

It seams this is also the torrent I used over 3yrs ago!! I only entered the keygened code once!!! I am running Win 7 Ultamate 32bit as Administrator, a nVidia9800GT all the latest drivers, all Windows updates C++, .netframework 4.0, Physx, DirectX & anything else you can update as the new drivers are needed!!!!!!!
If you don't know how to activate your Administrator account just ask & Ill post a "How too".
Otherwise on install right click the setup.exe then run the install as Administrator. Follow the install instructions Iv posted above.
To play the Game "YOU NEED TO HAVE THE INTERNET DICONNECTED!!!" either disable or try & block it threw your firewall.
If you are having trouble with the ISO install try Virtual Clone Drive, Its light, Easy to use, Works a treat & it's Free!!!!!

There's also a problem with Configure Utilities crashing immediately after hitting "Play". I understand there are a few different ways to fix this.
1. Right click >> Properties on MassEffect.exe (and/or Configure.exe) and enable it to run with XP Service Pack 3.

1. If you hit any missing dll like Xaudio*.dll or d3d*.dll etc. You need to install DirectX
2. If you hit error on missing PhysX.dll, install PhysX (Even if you have a ATI card, you still need PhysX)
3. If you hit side to side configuration is wrong or general protection, install VC++ 2005/2008/2010 depend on your OS version.
4. Games For Windows Live keep login, you need to create local/offline profile.
5. Missing xlive.dll, install Games for Windows Live
6. Most games now require framework 3.5 to play, please update your framework, even you are on XP SP3.

I didnt do anything with my firewall, just checked now and all 3 ME are authorized to share informations like any others programs.
I re-installed ME 1 yesterday with the key they gave in the DLC Pinnacle Station I gave above. No problems so far and I've been able to play PS and Bring Down The Sky.

If you havn't made a Shortcut from the over-written crack & try to start the game from the shortcut made by the install itself then it looks for the install disk!!! Hence ERROR!!!

Your AV is picking up false-positives.
You need to re-run the Patch 1.02.exe
Then You need the crack from the Pinnicale Station DLC copied into the install directory as my install instruction show.
It should all work fine but if you still only get the blank box I believe that he DLC is still installed just not the name.

OK. I did what you said. However, when I start the game everything and go through the logos when I click any button to start to the main menu of the game. Before that is clear there are 2 messages saying "ERROR:and blah blah blah.."
I did however saw in the DLC Box that I had Bring down the Sky. But I still had the other blank box where Pinncale station.

Your ME1 saves will be fine for importing to ME2.
All I can say is that there is heaps of info on the comment pages & alot from myself for the ISO's DLC's Importing Characters etcetc.
If you have followed the install instructions(which can be a little vague, Is why Iv posted more indepth install instructions) everything should work including having Pinnicale Staions name in the DLC box.
Read copy & paste info to reference as you go.
Again the Pinnicale Station should be playable even with the name missing.

You should get both of them. The first one is a new playable and interesting character in your team (DLC released just ONE day after ME 3 o/ ) and the second one is correcting the end of the game which were very poor with additionnal scenes and choices.

After spending a few hours fiddling around with different cracks, patches, and compatibility settings, I finally got the game to work. And with the Galaxy Map, to boot!
However, a few pages back somebody mentioned that Therum appears as a completely black ground - no lava or anything. He was dismissed as having a not good enough computer.
I have a Core i3 540, 4 GB of RAM and a Radeon HD 5450 (512 MB). That is more than enough to run this game at full settings. And V-sync.
So, does anybody have a LEGIT reason for this not working?

The reason of the bug is in one file named "LocalShaderCache-PC-D3D-SM3.upk"
To fix the bug you need to delete this file in two places : 1) in Program files/Mass Effect/BioGame/CookedPC
2) In your documents/Bioware/Mass Effect/Published
I just did and it worked for me. I found this on a french forum. :)

Hi guys, i've got a big problem with this game. The installation went just fine but the problem is:
1.I'm just stuck. After i exposed Saren and my task is to visit colonies on some of the planets i cannot open my Galaxy man on my Normandy ship(i'm already in there, right after i was became a spectre)
The whole screen is just black, but there is a word in the top left corner saying Widow. I cant really do anything than pressing Q or Esc which merely make a blink of what i'm supposed to see on the screen, the next word is smth like Nebula and the last one is Milky Way, and if i press q or esc again after that it will just quit(not the game), i just have to pressE on this galaxy map again. So this means when im supposed to choose a start or a place i can go to the screen is just black, tried setting my resolution lower or any other shit lower, doesnt work, playing on Windows 7, seeking help because it's a very nice game but i'm just stuck because of this stupid bug
2. The second problem is that the game is just lagging at some points, especially when its crowded in that area. Nothing to do with my PC at this point though because when i try to set my resolution or details/particles lower, lags seem not to dissapear at all. Playing on a NICE pc btw( i was running both Dead Spaces on 50-60 fps, meaning no laggs at all basically). Smth wrong with this torrent or the game or with my settings idk. Any1 can help me with this 1

Can only suggest updating all drivers Graphics Card etc .netframework 4.0, DirectX, PhysX.

Just came across a glitch: the galaxy map, when activated, freezes and only displays blackness. It unfreezes for an instant when zooming out, and then freezes again, displaying nothing. Guess Citadel's the only place I'll get to see in the game :(

Came across the same glitch after trying to leave Noveria, seems it must occur randomly.
Following Fantomz advice and about to finish updating drivers (Nvidia 410M 269.73 update), DirectX 11, .net framework 4.0 and PhysX.

After installing a different crack, the game works smoothly, except for every now and then when the game freezes directly after some in-game dialogue. Only happened twice so far but wondering if anyone knows how to unfreeze it? Pressing any keys doesn't seem to register.

There's also a problem with Configure Utilities crashing immediately after hitting "Play". I understand there are a few different ways to fix this.
1. Right click >> Properties on MassEffect.exe (and/or Configure.exe) and enable it to run with XP Service Pack 3.
2. Right click MassEffect.exe and run as Administrator.
vc++ and physx BOTH ARE REQUIRED TO PLAY.

1. If you hit any missing dll like Xaudio*.dll or d3d*.dll etc. You need to install DirectX
2. If you hit error on missing PhysX.dll, install PhysX (Even if you have a ATI card, you still need PhysX)
3. If you hit side to side configuration is wrong or general protection, install VC++ 2005/2008/2010 depend on your OS version.
4. Games For Windows Live keep login, you need to create local/offline profile.
5. Missing xlive.dll, install Games for Windows Live
6. Most games now require framework 3.5 to play, please update your framework, even you are on XP SP3.
Hope all that helps as it should all work perfectly.

ummm so i might just have fucked up, here's what happened
I insatalled, used keygen, cracked in binaries, installed the uptades, changed the config to run compatibility with windows seven. All good so far, BUT when running the game to play it it asked for the cd-key AGAIN, so i used the same one from the instalation and nothing, tried with other keygen codes, nothing. It ended up saying that i reached the activation limit. So i uninstalled it and it still came up with reached activation limit. Turning off the internet wont do cause it wont let me run if i'm not connected. So... any ideas how to fix it please? :)

Okay, seriously what the hell is the deal with this torrent? I'm usually not one to question torrents, especially ones with the skull next to the uploader, but Jesus fucking Christ this has been the most frustrating half an hour of my life.
Downloaded, mounted, installed. Followed install directions in the comments section, to the world. Got the Vitality crack. Copied the .exe over to the binaries folder in the install directory. Attempted to launch the game, and now I have a "General protection fault!" error.
This is starting to become more trouble than it's worth. If there's anyone out there that knows the remedy to whatever the fuck has gone wrong now, I'd be appreciative. If not, fuck it. I've played through the game once and I'm certainly not going to sit here plunging my own ass for an eternity just to get a chance to play it again.

Ok I've downloaded, installed, and followed EVERY direction correctly. I start the game, make my character and sit through the cutscene, (unskippable!) but then after I gain control of Shepard, the game works fine except when I try pressing anything other than the movement keys, at which point the game crashes. After entering the key, before going to the next step open task manager and in the processes tab look for a process with a name similar to Mass Effect Code.exe (something like this!) and end that process. That worked for me!

Guys!! I really need help out here. I use TPB for 10 years and never was urged to put a comment... to the point:
I have installed the game, run patch 1.02 and everything was working just great, non single error occurred during installation/launching/playing
@!!!@ When I am at the point to curse for Feros or Noveria, I reach the system target the planet and Intro Movie is loading.. playing and when I am supposed to start the map instead I am back on Normandy .. can choose Feros againg but no option 'LAND' whilst Journal says -> go to Feros.
What's even worst - I ve reinstalled it, downloaded another version (below), followed the instructions and again.. when launching my saved profile, situation is the same
