no...it has never been re-edited or released commercially. Due to the enormous song catalog, the producers would need to get rights on every song (all the various labels) before a DVD copy could be available for home viewing. They continue to screen the film ( now 4 years later) at various theaters and collect funding to release it- This is the only way you can view it in the privacy of your home for now...Please keep this torrent alive ( all musicians will thank you)

A wonderful film celebrating the unseen and little known musicians who provided the soundtrack of our youth. It's ashame music rights are likely to prevent this from ever being commercially released, but at least you can see it here and the memories of these amazing folks has been preserved.
